i think this is one of the more underrated P&O moments. The fact that Peter was pretty much convinced that they would die if they stayed up there and yet he still went back to be with Olivia just shows how much he cares about her.
Notice how when she heard Peter's footsteps coming back her power kicked in? She knew at that moment that he believed in her.
One of my very favorite P/O moments in Season I.
Peter knows-he can't leave her.
And I've said this before. Notice that the lights don't start going out UNTIL after Peter returns. They may have abilities that are intertwined...
This is one of my favorite scenes!
Peter asked her to get a drink with him multiple times throughout the series, you can see his frustration at the end when he sighs lol, the little things.
this is the moment where he starts to imagine them together, he mentioned doing that in season three
In season 2, he says to her he's never seen anyone who does things she does, and that was literal...no one could do things like this, except her.
She nailed when Peter Come back because she was afraid to lose someone that she love and of course she love peter
i actually like jones in this episode...he seems more like a friend to olivia than an enemy
Yes, in a weirdo way, Jones was encouraging her to be everything she was capable of being, even if that ability was forced on her. She needed to see that with her own eyes.
Lmao, the sigh of rejection. OUCH. He gon get it though...he gon get it.
This is the 1st time we see how important having Peter around affects what she's capable of doing. Nothing starts to happen here until he comes back. Note how at that point, all the background noise becomes muted, like she's entering a different level of concentration. It's funny how a scene of a character starting down lights makes you hold your breath, but that's exactly what happens..
my favorite episode from season one Peter is so in love with Olivia, he wouldn`t have gone back if wasn`t totally in love with her :) I Love Fringe , and Peter & Olivia!!!!
Dude I was so scared during this moment.
And that sigh at the very end--"Yeah..*sigh*" No drinks then...
OF course he came back! he loves her and he cant be in a world where shes not in it! alt world or otherwise!
Sometimes I feel like Olivia needs Peter's frequency from the other side to activate her gift.
3:19 "OHKAY. Fine. Look. All I know is I didn't die tonight, so I'm pretty much willing to accept any explanation you wanna give. You wanna go get a DRINK? Or FIVE? (I've seen you with a whiskey bottle.)" XD Peter like mood every time I get done watching you guys on this show/I finish one of these episodes and none of you have died yet in that HOUR XDD

@joybugg I AGREE!!! I think they both really knew in the pilot when she was getting ready to get in the tank & he saw her take her robe off & her when he was sticking the things on her & looked up at her & in her eyes & said I hope your guy is worth it.
@WJobsessed Totally right, they do have interwined powers! Can't believe I'd never noticed her powers started manifesting until after Peter was close to her. 3x21 is now much more credible :o
Peter appears to be, right from the start a calming influence, which was needed for her to do things like this. Seeing things from the other side required her to be afraid. So her abilities were dependent on two things-allowing herself to feel fear, and the other, calmness and peace...neither of which came to her easily at all.
@toneFT She asked him if he wanted 2 get something 2 eat when she got back from Germany & she saw him in the hospital & because of the feelings she had for him is why she couldn't be with her ex that was in Germany & Peter called her, she left his apartment. But when she asks him if he is hungry, he sd not after what happened that day but he was thirsty,really,really thirsty & she sd me 2 & then thats when they started pointing out couples in love..he sd look at that & she sd yeah, look at that.

Peter was right. I mean, how would you react of someone wanted to stay behind? You'd think they were nuts.
