    This effect gives me so many possible ideas about what I can do when I begin to repaint my '94 Super V 2000. Over then past years I've grown bored with the plain jane black and silver of the factory style paint I did on the bare frame. Can't wait for the next video to see what ideas it sparks .!!

    У меня тоже кристаллы получаются короткие. При уменьшении концетрации мочевины крилсталы становятся длиннее. Так же большое влияние на форму кристаллов оказывает окружающия среда. Необходима влажность и температура. И возможно ультофиолет (еще не пробовал).
    С кристалломи мучаюсь давно . Уже заканчивается второй килограмм мочевины, а пробники для опытов у меня по 25 граммов. Еще важно как вы наносите раствор на деталь.
    Мартин не хочет выдавать все секреты, его право, поэтому приходиться мучаться. Всем удачи.

    I would like to use this technique on a clear lexan polycarbonate Remote control car shell . However when painting these shells the paint is applied in the inside of the shell and once painting is completed a protective outer film is removed from the shell revealing the paint , this effectively is the clear coat so I wouldn’t have to do this part of your process. Please can you give me any advice on how you would attempt the crystal effect on this please. Thank you, Gary

    Thank you for the explanation. I'm a little confused about the use of the wetting agent. According to the product links in your description, the agent is used for water based paints. However, I thought the Rust-Oleum paints you recommend in your description were epoxy/enamel based paints. Are they not? Or, is the repelling nature of the of the two part of what creates the effect?

    • @ETOE
      @ETOE  8 місяців тому +2

      You don't mix the wetting agent in the rustoleum color. You mix it in the distilled water which should be water-based.
