She can't have blades at work. So she has only carried it a hand full of times. She took it in her back when we went on a weekend trip to Gettysburg PA this summer and few other outings. Thanks for checking the video out!!
This is just wholesome. Damn, what a nice gift, not just the edc pouch, the thought behind it. It just shows how much you care for her well being. Well done, what a husband/man!💪 Edit: i see, this video was uploaded some time ago... how did she change it?
It's mostly intact still. She doesn't take it very often anymore since she started working in a school. I did steel the charging cord out of it. Hey, mine broke. 😆
You made an outstanding kit for your wife sir. Found your video as I am making my wife a kit as well. Thank you for the information and the suggestions.
Awesome kit. Unfortunately/fortunately my Honey likes to leave the house as least prepared as possible, so it gives me the joy of carrying more EDC. :) Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!! She uses items out of it often and takes it with her once in awhile. She can't carry any type of blade at work. I think about stealing it for myself. Lol. Thanks for checking the video out!!!
Thanks! Yea the micro is a good size for small items. I use a mini which is larger and doesn't stuff into my pockets l the mini can. Plus the bigger they are the more cheap you'll stuff in them. Lol. Thanks for checking the video out!!!!
Thank you for sharing! This kit is so thorough. I have my own kits that I carry , so I’m thinking of putting a few of these together for my family for them to be prepared , These are going to make excellent Christmas gifts. It’s thorough enough that I found a few items that I would like to add to my own kit! Thank you! 😊
Awesome! She's only carries it with her on occasion. She's not allowed to have any types of blades at work. But it's there if she needs it. Thanks for checking the video out!!!
Awesome video. Well thought out. It's great for me as I am just starting to put together my first edc. Thank you for showing what will fit in a micro edc. 🙂
@@factorsofjack I went to Amazon and found some smaller Anker Power Banks and some mini Power Banks that weren't the Anker brand that were flat that I think will work. 🙂
Whilst I carry a briefcase to work, I too needed a few odd bods for those tasks when you think you never need. A few trade shows have given away freebies I have collected & was proud to fill my micro expedition with. I even tucked $50.00 in the back with a few coins for emergencies.
Nice! I used a Maxpedition Mini for awhile and currently using a Maxpedition Beefy that I leave in the truck and/or carry in my backpack. Thanks for checking the video out!!!
Nice gift! Hope there is an update to what she might have added. A mirror, nail clippers and a Fresnel lense would be great adds. I like both SAKs. Switching maybe the Micra for a Swiss Card might have been good compliments.
It's pretty much still the same set up. She only carries it occasionally. I got her a Victorinox nail clip 580 which will probably replace the micra. Thanks for checking the video out!
I love my different sized ones. I got a micro one for EDC carry and several different sizes for pockets in bags and a few for cargo pockets depending on if I am camping, mudding or hunting. Very nice pouches!
Good job kind sir. That was an awesome thoughtful gift you made up for the wife. I just recently started making a few EDC kits and watching various videos. Always interesting to see all the different items people purchase. It’s actually turned into a somewhat of a hobby that’s fun. I find myself getting carried away on my Amazon purchases though lately. Lol😂
It comes in handy. I probably use it more than she does tho. She can't take it to work with any blades in it. Even the little knives in the multitools. Thanks for checking the video out!!!
My wife doesn't carry a purse ever. She does take a backpack to work with her coffee thermas and lunch in it. Thought she'd at least take the little more often than she does. Thanks for checking the video out!!!
What a lovely little kit, great idea. I hope you do not mind me "borrowing" you're ideas and build one myself. Might put in a mini bic lighter, toothpicks and maybe small mirror and creditcard magnifier
Right! I always have them in my sling bag. The wife doesn't take her pouch very often anymore. She definitely doesn't edc it as she's a teacher and can't have any size blade at school. Thanks for checking the video out!
It's always my hubby that's never prepared. He yaps at me Everytime we go hiking, says I have to much in my small backpack, but everytime we go there is something in there we need..lol I like all mini stuff in this pouch. I love that folding knife. Who is that put out by?
Im the same,, I have a small first aid kit and a small survival kit in my backpack at all times.. The knife is an Opinel. They are very inexpensive and come in different sizes. This one is a number 6. I have a couple No. 7's also.
@@factorsofjack thank you for the reply. We were out one time and the sky opened up and it started pouring rain. My husband said, u wouldn't happen to have a tent in backpack would u? I said no but I got 2 hooded rain jackets...lol then he slid down this little hill and hit his head on a tree and cut his temple and of course I had a first aid kit..lol
Too bad she can’t have knives at work but understand. There are more multi tools bladeless. The Victorianox NailCare card is pretty neat, no knife. Maybe a second Micro bag different color to hold the knife items in one place for swapping in. Lot of thought went in this. Nice present
Victorinox supposedly are coming out with a few blade less models this year. I have kind of stolen her Leatherman Micra.🙂 The scissors on mine are messed up. Thanks for checking the video out!!
The little kit I put together. The little individual creams like the triple antibiotic ointment I had in my first responder kit when I was on the team at work. You can buy them at most pharmacies and even on Amazon. Thanks for checking the video out!!!
I hate that I need a purse - matter how tiny it is - to carry the 3 items I can't live without: phone, keys, minimalist wallet. In the winter I don't need one cause I have a coat on with extra pockets. But in the summer I can't fit all of these items comfortably in the front pockets of my jeans. I know I could use one of those pouches around my waist, but I'd rather not let thieves know where I keep my money. I was wondering if you could come up with a solution.
My wife hates carrying around a purse and hasnt owned a purse in years. Thats why I tried getting her to carry a little pouch organizer ( She doesn't). She does have a little stick on card wallet attached to the back of her phone. That combined two items and solved the problem of her never having her cards and I'd with here. That's the only thing I can come up with right now. If I think of anything else I'll let you know here. Thanks for checking the video out.
Cancan concealment has a hip hugger (belly band) where you can keep it all on your body and it would be covered by your shirt, keeps pant pockets free.
I was just saying I didn't see pocket organizers for women, for the ones that want pink or Tiffany blue, but I wouldn't recommend bright colors, alot of purse snatchers.
True, that's a definite market for edc gear designed more towards women. I don't know why companies aren't catching onto it yet. Thanks for checking the video out!!!
Want plain colors, I have a viperade v1 with a Paracord I tied to it, I wear it like a sling satchel, man purse, but I have everything close, you could clip that one you have to a belt loop or belt.
I've looked at the Viperades!! I'll probably get one, just don't know which version I want. I think I have the v1 and v4 on my Amazon wishlist. I have a Maxpedition TC-5 with 2 loops that I can use a strap and carry it that way also.
Such a kind and loving gesture. Clearly you care a lot about your wifes safety and wellbeing.
Thank you and thanks for checking the video out!!
