If I were to compose a guitar solo for “214 by Rivermaya” It will sound like this.
Of course the Original Guitar solo by Perfecto De Castro will forever be a classic favorite and the updated guitar solo by Rico Blanco is a well composed fresh new take to the classic solo. This one is my version to the solo, a re-imagination and a challenge to myself as a composer. Enjoy! People love to compare Perf's, Rico's, Mike's rendition but comparison is the thief of joy lol. I think sinabi ni Perf sa tutorial niya ng solo ng 214 na we have the permission to improvise sa 214.
With that said, great take sir! Excellent way to showcase your technique while still being melodic!

I appreciate the comment brother. I think when it comes to music eh it’s subjective kasi to you it might be emotionless but to some it might be emotional. Similar to Yngwie’s playing vs Vai’s or Satch kung sino ang may emotions or wala. It could be for some it’s Yngwie’s but to some emotionless siyang gumawa. Some naman kay Satch for me full of emotions pero sa iba naman ay hindi. So I guess subjective talaga. But thanks for the comment will improve still. ;) cheers! - Ael 🤘🏻😎
