I just want you to know Zach, that we your REAL fans, completely forgive you. Pushing that old lady over was a complicated process and there must have been a million thoughts in your head that led you up to that moment. We all greatly appreciate this sincere apology. You take as much time off of social media as you need if it means getting your mental health back up. People can be rude sometimes. That just happens. I'll be taking a break from the internet to reflect on what I've done, but more importantly-RAID SHADOW LEGENDS!

@@fireflymiesumae Dr Mike did not make a second channel for apologies the second channel was created over 2 months before the apology video and already had a decent amount of content by the time the apology was posted.
That transition into raid shadow legends was probably one of the smoothest transitions I saw, an the cut immediately afterwards just made it better

Hey Zach, I figure you have a better chance of seeing this here than on the main channel. I just wanted to thank you. I’m a graduating senior in high school and I knew I wanted to do something STEM related, but I wasn’t sure what. I kept hearing “engineering” but still didn’t really understand what engineers did or what that path would look like. Your content helped a lot in my decision, and I’m going to be an engineering major this fall.

@@blah7983 if we're talking about the boat party. There were at least 10 hired girls there and they were also pictured (on their own instas) going to a bunch of other parties during lockdown (probably hired to go there as well since it's their jobs). There is like 0.1% chance that they actually quarantined before they went to Dr mike's boat party. I'm guessing the whole thing was just a lie because before he said he was being safe by quarantining and testing himself beforehand he had said that he didn't even know his friends were throwing him that party. So unfirtunately he's just another influencer at this point.

Say platitudes and talk about coming together and what not. Make it so that upon first hearing sounds like an apology and make viewers sympathize with you. However, after analyzing it, the listener will realize that it was vague and shows no sign of remorse. Not only that, it actually sounds like the youtuber is passing the the blame onto everyone else.

hilarious video zach. to be fair to youtubers who screw up, there's really no good option. make a genuine apology gets you cancelled and accused of lying; make a half assed video (which happens most often) and you get cancelled. Ignoring it completely bites you in the back eventually because people remember it.
Maybe making a subtle apology.
Maybe add the dim lights and rainy background to make the video more convincing. You know, so the fans know u are truly sorry.

Love the math content too, but I can see and respect the effort and dedication it takes to focus on self improvement and self actualization over being distracted with any one of many things that can take away from productive exertion of your effort.
For example not being complacent with your original channel and pursuing a less restrictive outlet for your creative expression through this new channel.
Creating is one of the most rewarding things a person can do, and it's easy to forget that with the abundance of content that exists for consumption.
Arguably this comment I'm making has disproportionate effort applied relative to the significance of a comment on a UA-cam video.
But even this half assed form of content creation is providing me a sense of achievement and satisfaction for forcing myself to lay out my thoughts, check their validity, and develop coherent ways of expressing them.
(Hmmm there's a lot more that came after this part....maybe I riled myself up with that last paragraph 🤔)
Potentially the question who do I want to be when I grow up does not make sense.
Rather I should ask "what do I want to make?" And understand that within that question I allow my creativity to have within its scope access to sculpting every part of my life all the way down to what I make of **myself** (insert bold italics underlined font).
It's a paradigm shift where you take yourself, and choose to see it as something that is as maliable as you want it to be.
You can then define a function based on your personal beliefs and values towards trying to make yourself the kind of person you want to be. Then at that point you can potentially express your self improvement model mathematically, and prove it's validity, or find counterexamples, such that as you improve, you are not satisfied with your improvement function, and you seek to **improve** ("improve" in more italics and bold) the improvement function.
Through this iterative recursive process we can strive to become not just what we want to be now, but also to become people that want "better" (left to be defined by the individual) for ourselves in the future.
So that what we want to be is also dynamic and ever evolving, such that the specifics of the destination we defined in the beginning becomes insignificant, or at least far less important than we make it out to be.
Rather what matters is to DEFINE any such destination such that you can begin the process, eg the **journey**. Because as you embark on your journey the target will evolve and change, but if option paralysis prevents you from designating a destination, you are stuck at step 0, unable to begin the valuable part of the algorithm because you are hung up on the arbitrary starting point.
You are so focused on the end result, you lose sight of what's in front of you and what matters most in the moment
