Vielen Dank Michaela das ist sehr nett von dir, manchmal muss ich einfach improvisieren wenn mir die Worte fehlen…und vielen Dank für den positiven Zuspruch
Liebe Martina, was für zwei wundervolle Journals. 😊 Ich finde es so schön, wie du diese ganzen tollen Stoffe und Spitzen / Bänder verwendest. Lieber Gruß 🤗 Cornelia
Oh, Martina! They are both so beautiful!!! I love how you've incorporated fabrics from May- so opulent and they really are happy books. 💖 The coats of arms (I see someone else commented it!) add a royal touch, with the gold shimmer details. It's so cool to see genuine vintage things with cultural relevance that you find on ebay there, but which aren't as readily available in other parts of the world. So fun!
Hi Sarah, thank you, I love to use fabrics from May, I love the opulence and richness. I have in mind making a journal where I use a lot of the material from May but have not yet figured out what exactly I am going to do. The collectors card are super fun to use, I did not know that there are so many different ones which were all made in the first half of last century. I am happy I figured this out and was lucky in winning another auction at eBay. I am glad you are feeling better after the flu you had. Take care
Oh yes, they really are so opulent! I was thinking of making myself another "hoarder journal" using each of the materials she sent me, but leaving some blank space add more from future happy mails. (I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like I can only use up my materials if I've saved a little bit of each.) And how cool about the collector cards! I can't wait to see what you make with them! @@MagnoliaFairyTale
Blue is my all time favorite color!!! Its my Mom's favorite as well, * she wants me to make her a Journal that incorporates all of her Favorite Things! The fabric I have is more of a Royal Blue & matches the 2nd Beautiful Journal you showed? But both are Stunning! You create The Most Phenomenal Masterpieces!!!
Hi Erica, thank you this is so kind of you. I think blue is a wonderful color and I cannot decide if I like the lighter or the darker tones more. Thus I made 2 journals. Have a great day Martina
It doesn't look like you sew anything. What kind of glue do you use? I would love to know so I can use it in my journal creations as well. 🙂 You are so very talented.
Hi, I looked at the remaining darker blue book and actually I only sewed the appliqués and lace edge on the cover fabric. The fabric as such is glued on the body. I use vey mundane glue, often a German brand „Uhu Bastelkleber“ which is PVA but I also use all purpose glue. Admittedly no name products which work perfectly well for me. Thank you so much for checking in and leaving a nice comment Martina
Blues are my favorite colors and you have used these colors beautifully in your journals. Both are so creative and HAPPY❤
I love blue too and am delighted that you like the 2 happy ones. Martina
Wappenbild = heraldic figure .....sagt mein Lexikon. Wunderschön, wie immer.

Hi Linda, this is so kind of you, many thanks for these lovely words Martina
These are both gorgeous Martina! You must be creating journals 24 hrs a day! Whew - They are all stunning! xx Pam
Hi Pam, he he 😊 I think you know how it is when you get “infected”, thank you so much for your kind words. Take care Martina
