I started crying when he was talking about his daughter. He's such a sweet guy and I love how happy he is. Deep down I feel like I would give anything if he would run a season of Xfinity or something in the future, but I also would never want him to be less happy not being able to be with his family as much. As fans we can be pretty selfish, but I am glad he's happy. Really touching stuff

I think Amy had alot to do with him retiring. It's not necessarily a bad thing either because I'm sure she knows what's best for him and the family. I just feel if it wasn't for her he would still be racing.

I am so glad that Jr. was able leave racing and take up the life he's living now. There was so much pressure on him from the time he was a youngster up until he ended his career as a full-time driver. I've come to understand Jr. better by virtue of his "Dirty Mo Media" endeavors and I must say there's so much more to Jr. than anyone can realize on the surface. I'm so happy for for Jr. and his marriage, and that love he's so vocal about for his daughter. I hope he has a long and fruitful life with his family he loves.

Jr is clearly one of the best drivers of his generation, he a proven businessman as well as a talented broadcaster. But it is his relationship with his wife and daughter that truly makes him an amazing man and someone that is truly a roll model.

I'm a 70 year-old man. It's just dawn Saturday morning. I am sitting here in my office, Buster the dog in his bed behind me, tears flowing down my cheeks. Why? Why, I ask myself. There is no one answer. This DE Jr. film should --and needs to--win an award. And I don't know if there is an Awards Category for films like this. There is no one thing that causes my tears: my tears flow from the build-up of memories, love, family, devotion, happiness--and all of these were part of Jr and his wife--as well as his fans. Every one of these emotions was displayed by Junior and mirrored by his fans. The production of this little film is at the highest level of cinematography. Whomever the director, producer, and film editor is should feel proud of this accomplishment. This former race driver continues to grow. As we say down South, "good on ya."

I was there at Darlington and to be in the stands and feel the love that all of us fans showed dale when he got out the car I was crying like a little baby so I can only imagine how that made him feel...then to actually see him in the parade on the NBC sports float with Amy and isla and to see that smile on his face just made me start crying all over again!!! I meet Kelley in wilmington nc when i was about 7 years old i think it was 1990 or 1991 and when i told her that i raced go carts she gave me a big hug and wished me luck that stuck with me and thats when i became an Earnhardt fan!!! In 2004 i was in a very severe car accident in which my cousin/bestfriend died from head injury and I suffered broken bones from my nose to my toes but the mental issues outweighed any pain id felt, i can honestly say that dale jr helped save me that year for one he gave me something to look forward to every weekend not to mention the success he had that year was just icing on the cake so go 15 years later to see him at darlington and see his smile and feel that love that was shown was just an unforgettable experience!!!

I can't imagine how incredible it feels to have all those people cheering for you and wishing you well, but also contrasted by the intense pressure and the heartbreak of having to give up the one thing you love the most. I wasn't even a Jr fan when he was racing, but I recently found his podcast and feel like I've gotten to know so much more about him, and now I feel like I missed out on being a fan all those years.

Fifth place was incredible. I was a Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan that stayed with the family and cheered for Jr.. Since Jr left I haven't watched another race unless he's driving.

I have never seen a NASCAR race in my life, I never seen Jr rac nor seen his dad race other than the odd race on ESPN but watching this, and another series on Dale Jr, I'm one of his bigest fans! Him and his sister are the most humble an amazing people that despite some tough times stuck together and persevered and are now just amazing people.

Gives me chills!!! So proud to say I am an Earnhardt fan! It is amazing getting to look back on all the great moments and seeing a boy turn into a man and then a father.....I know you have all the success in the world but now you know what it's like to truly be wealthy.

My youth was spent on the sports field. I'm a man with all the responsibilities thereof, now ..and have been for decades. During Christmas day, or at a gathering with friends. If a football, basketball, or baseball comes out and we venture to the street or park. It's such a joyous occasion.. a return to my element. I hope you return to one of your elements many more times before the days come when you cannot. God Bless.

This video and the one where he is authenticating his Dad's #8 Nova shows his true colors! He is very into it and that shines right through!
A modern-day gentleman racer. The last of a dying breed. Thanks for the memories Dale and thank you for sharing some new memories y'all are creating!
    That's what makes you a winner!!!🏁🏁🏁

That's pretty darn special Dale Jr 👍
Been around the sport a long time.
It's the people who makes this sport special in so many peoples lives.
This just cements my admiration for yourself and your family. We cried that Sunday your Daddy went home too soon.
The way you carry on the Earnhardt name with your Dad's influence, but told from your perspective. It's easy to see it's from your heart that really wins folks over.
    God bless you
Dale Earnhardt Jr, and your family for many more years of happiness and success in whatever you do.

I got the worst anxiety after my accident that could have cost me my life. But the anxiety was even worse when I finally got to get back in a Commercial truck. Dale Sr. Was my idle. He could do all his repairs himself. Blow his motor qualifying and rebuild it a racing on Sunday. I can't mustard up the courage to finish my race car. That accident brings back all the memories of everything I lost because of that accident. Your dad will always be happy seeing you doing what makes you happy Dale. You are the legacy your dad made for you bro. Enjoy it and God bless

Unbelievable! I’ve became a NASCAR in 2006, as a Kyle Busch fan, JR certainly wasn’t my favorite driver. We used to joke about Dales communication or lack there of at the time. “ things like a brick on wheels, won’t turn” “fix it”. However since watching more and dale retiring I have become such a fan 🦄. He is so open with his feelings and opinions. His interviews are amazing and having him apart of the sport still I believe is what is making this sport turn the corner. I think when it’s all done, people will remember the driver Dale, but more will remember what he has done for NASCAR, the fans and media after driving. Thanks for being you, just genuine.
