Love your run ideas. You should do a ‘fewest anything killed’ (no exploits, no environment kills) run as a lark. I think the fewest kills that could be done is twelveish (depending on how you count the last boss) but without gear from other stuff it would be tough.
I mean, you only need to kill: Draconic Sentinel, Piss Godfrey, Morgott, Fire Giant, Wario & Waluigi, Maliketh, Gideon, Godfrey, and then Radagon with Elden Beast. That's 10 if you count Radagon and Elden Beast as separate
You also need 2 great runes to enter Leyndell, Radahn and Mohg (via Pureblood Knight Charm) can be gotten without any additional kills so that's 14. If you're offline you'll need to do Rykard or Goderick, both of which require an extra kill to get to (Godskin Noble or Margit).

My first casual play through was a Paladin, and oh boy do I feel the pain in this video. Min/Max with holy only for half the story bosses to resist my entire build.
I have an idea for a challenge run, idk if it'd be too difficult but maybe an Inventory Lock run. So the main part is that once you equip an item you have to keep it in that inventory slot for the whole game. Equip a weapon in early game it stays there forever, put throwing knives in your quick items they stay there even if you run out. Allow for the starting items to be removed at the beginning so you can hunt down better armor sets later
NGL it'd be extremely easy unless you add other restrictions. You can just get one weapon, and upgrade it . Done. You don't need to use more than 1 weapon
Hey bushy thank you for your content it's really helped me through some rough times. This may be the last video I get to watch for a while but before I go I just wanted to thank you. It's been a pleasure.
Because of all these challenges you do yr so damn good at these boss fights now! It’s really cool to see. I’ve been watching and re-watching some of yr fights to see how to best handle some attacks/mechanics, as I like to do my own little challenges. Mostly just very underpowered (+0 weapons), no-hits on a single boss fight. You keep showing me how many attacks I can just outspace, which is really important to keep the pressure up for status proc’s and staggers. Thanks doode!
His next video: elden ring but I litteraly can't deal damage at all, like my attacks actually do zero points of damage. But that sounds too easy so im also not going to level up my vigor at all and I'm only allowed to use one hand while playing. And then he somehow still manages to beat it
I'm genuinely flabbergasted at how easily you took Malenia down... with a broken build it takes me upwards of 30 attempts and that's when I've beaten her before 💀. How tf do you dodge waterfowl that well??
@magnum idk if any of them are harder/easier than one another. Just challenging in different ways. Depends on various factors (which game you played 1st is usually the hardest. Playstyle is a big factor too.) Moving quickly through levels, and being aggressive vs bosses is always better than the reverse though.
It’s so funny seeing all these challenge runners so confident when attempting bosses. Like they decent damage and they’re like “yeah we’ll be good to go” and they end up dying. And honestly I don’t blame them. After beating Elden ring as many times as they have in weird ways, I’d probably be that cocky too.
@@xenasaur520 actually a dragoon is an actual thing. Its a spear-wielding class I recall from Final Fantasy. But it's also of historical significance. A member of any of several cavalry regiments in the British army. Been studying history so I'm learning new things everyday. But. The original idea behind the build was derived from my knowledge of FF's dragoon class, which wields powerful spears. I'm adding in the lightning spell use cause several strong spears in the game have Faith scaling. Like the one you get from a cart in the Lake area, to the right of where you exit the back of Godrick's castle behind a troll
@@vixey6339 a dragoon's role varies from game to game but typically its spear wielding knight + dragons in some way, depending on the game. Some Dragoons have little dragon buddies, some Dragoons are dragon slayers and gain their power from dragons, some end up being both (like in 14), but they're all spear guy + dragon. Anyway, cool build!
I replayed Eldenring recently and I had the Cipher Patas as my primary weapon. It was so much fun to use I didn't care about how many bosses resisted it. Eventually I did a re-spec into a Bolt of Gransax Lightning Warrior build. Most fun I've had in the game in a long time.
Hey bushy great video as always wanted to suggest a challenge idea with something like only using what you can get in the first 10 mins maybe more time maybe less I don’t know what would be a good amount.
The draconic tree sentinels horse breathes fire but has gold armour. This is because gold has a high melting point and would be a sensible choice. A nice detail.
Gold, a sensible choice for fire proof armour? What are you talking about!? First of all, Gold does not have a high melting point. It's only 1,064 C. Iron, the metal that most armour uses, has a much higher melting point of 1,538 C. Melting point isn't the only factor for heat resistance either. The wearer's resistance to fire would also be heavily dependent on specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity. Specific heat capacity is the capacity of a material to absorb heat. The higher the specific heat capacity, the more energy required to heat up a material to a certain temperature. Thermal conductivity is the capacity of a material to transfer heat. The higher the thermal conductivity, the faster the transference of heat from one side of a material to the other. So how does Gold actually fair in this respect? Gold has a specific heat capacity of 0.126 J/g C and a thermal conductivity of 310 W/m C. Iron has a higher specific heat capacity of 0.450 J/g C, and a lower thermal conductivity of 73 W/m C. So with this in mind, gold is an awful choice for fire resistance. You will cook up much faster inside a suit of gold armour than you would in a suit of iron armour. This isn't nice attention to detail on Elden Ring's part. Most likely, the developers chose gold, because that represents the Golden Order that all these knights serve under. I'm not even sure if the armour is actually made from gold. It's described as golden, but that's probably just referring to the colour. Most likely it is made from a gilded dragonbone or gravelstone, much like the weapons they use.
I'm still waiting for someone to beat demon prince (from dark souls 3 dlc) with just pure fire damage he has 90% resistance to fire which means it should be theoretically possible to kill him this way it'll just take like a few hours of surviving against one of the most dangerous bosses in from soft history
One incantation who would have made your life a lot easier was miquella’s ring of light, which is basically discus but wider, deals more damage and there are THREE of them
@@rollingkirby Nope. There are three ring incantations. Discus of light, Triple rings of light and Radagon's Rings of light. You're thinking of triple rings of light.
To point out how broken and insane black flame status effect is, The black flame sword incantation obtainable from the Godskin Prayer Book is Fire damage. Mohg has high resistance. Took it upon myself to see its limits. I used an ungraded Nagikaba with the incantation, and holy shit. It does unreal % tick damage regardless if it's even fire. It's technically possible to finish Elden Ring with unupgraded weapon with the incantation.
Has anyone tried a low% run yet? The game doesn't really track that much, so it'd be an honor system thing mostly. Collecting few (or no?) weapons and spells beyond starting gear, beating as few bosses as possible (like skipping Draconic Tree Sentinel). The details would need some hammering out, but something along the lines of: "I tried beating Elden Ring doing as little as possible (low%)"
I remember seeing no inventory challange which sounds kinda similar. Although they collected upgrades for weapons, as you can use them without opening inventory.
Although the idea of defeating remembrance bosses with the most absorbtion element did poped up in my head once or twice, I often thought to myself: “I am not that Masochist and also who would enjoy or make everyone enjoy such a playstyle ?” I was wrong. On both. I enjoy this man gameplay…a lot. Even with this playstyle. Also I am very concern about the fact that I am becoming more and more masochist.

You need 2 great runes to get into leyndell, so it’s at least 12
You also need 2 great runes to enter Leyndell, Radahn and Mohg (via Pureblood Knight Charm) can be gotten without any additional kills so that's 14.
If you're offline you'll need to do Rykard or Goderick, both of which require an extra kill to get to (Godskin Noble or Margit).
@@donkkonk6197 oh, right, completely forgot about that detail
in that case, yeah, around 12
"Man jumped over it that's cheating" _continues to hit them behind the pillar_
I fought sewer Mogh with a blasphemous blade and it was an absolutely hellish 10 minute endurance fight. Props to you for doing the even harder version with just catch flame, of all things.
Catch flame is actually one of the best incantations in the game, Amazing dmg/fp ratio and easily spammable only problem is range but even then it's good for melee replacement
@@brandentaft5164 Oh I know it's a good incantation, but against a boss with 80% fire resist? Can't have been easy
yeeeeees i was waiting for this! i saw it partially on stream, and i really wanted to see the video! these challenge runs keep getting more and more creative
Here is a challenge that could be fun. Fight every boss with the same weapon type they use. Radagon twin swords, Malika great hammer , mogh spear. etc etc. No legendary versions and you can only use special elements if they do. (Melania is prosthetic no sword :p)
Technically she's using her prosthesis, so maybe the commanders prosthesis?
@@silcrow4045 Or it's a Katana according to the game.
@@alexanderchipman9571 the katana is part of the prosthesis I think, gotta fight Melania again
Btw I love the Melania fight, it's the only fight that can withstand my bullshit builds, plus she got her arm cut off by radahn and still kept fighting
Not gonna lie, when you’re fighting Fia’s champions and the lil gnome popped out like the “Toasty,” from MK, I bout died laughing!
My first play through of Elden ring was the hardest not just because it was my first but also because I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COOL TO USE HOLY DAMAGE FOR MY BUILD
This is one of many ways to test the endurance. Not physical, but mental.
1:54 you look like you're waiting for the raid shadow legends employee to stop pointing his gun at you
Hey bushy thank you for your content it's really helped me through some rough times. This may be the last video I get to watch for a while but before I go I just wanted to thank you. It's been a pleasure.
I would be happier if I never read this. Not because I care, but because this was a waste of my time. Bye forever.

Now I wanna see someone do this with what every boss is most weak against and see the difference
Thanks doode!
hilarious that this is a challenge run cuz this is literally how I did my first playthrough
Mans over here doing a challenge run making placidussax look like a joke and im over here struggling while playing the game normally
His next video: elden ring but I litteraly can't deal damage at all, like my attacks actually do zero points of damage. But that sounds too easy so im also not going to level up my vigor at all and I'm only allowed to use one hand while playing.
And then he somehow still manages to beat it
Just pacifist run with Vigour restriction; spirit summons doing all the work
So, summon run?
if your attacks deal no damage, then just use statuses and summons, you're golden
damn. just after i watched all the other videos a new one came out. your content is amazing keep going 👍👍
Played my first playthrough with the treespear, maximizing holy damage... Didnt realize until final boss that im not dealing any damage.
"Okay we should be good" - instantly dies 😂
Love the clipped off F bombs. Great edit of a truly painful-looking run.
13:20 that honestly makes sense considering the Mimic Tear is a copy of you, but it's still really just one of those Demons's Souls Phalanx creatures
We want more frequent challenges... best ER content on YT right now!

Press Continue fuming when he sees he fell for Dextra Lies claiming Radagon/EB heal off holy damage LMAO
Mogh. The lord of blood.
Resists fire, weak to blood.
Ppl he officially made it as a UA-camr.
He got sponsored by Raid.
I'm genuinely flabbergasted at how easily you took Malenia down... with a broken build it takes me upwards of 30 attempts and that's when I've beaten her before 💀. How tf do you dodge waterfowl that well??
What im learning is the reason i had so much trouble in my first playthrough was because everything and their mother is resistant to holy.
"Its that simple... cough* cough* just dont use holy"
lm amazed by how good you are in the game its insane getting a 6th attempt on fire with just fire spell while he resist it
Holy damage isn't bad itself. It just happens that we are basically fighting the Vatican the whole game.
I mean, that does make it bad.
When I see people play aggressive I'm like "damn why do I play so passively" then I remember IT'S A SOULS GAME
@magnum idk if any of them are harder/easier than one another. Just challenging in different ways. Depends on various factors (which game you played 1st is usually the hardest. Playstyle is a big factor too.)
Moving quickly through levels, and being aggressive vs bosses is always better than the reverse though.
Always impressive how effortlessly he manages to dodge Malenia's waterfowl dance, like I could never!!
This one the decent damage is he trying to see if that's enough damage to killed them before he runs out of spell Mana
I’m so happy this was uploaded on my birthday this was one of my favorite challenges so far!
Seeing those two strong against lightning but that spell still hitting hard, I actually now know a way to fight them on my lightning dragoon. :)
idk if that was a typo or a pun but a lightning dragoon sounds like an awesome challenge run
Looking at the thumbnail and title, I expected this to be a Holy damage only run.
Glad to see I wasn't mistaken.
The draconic tree sentinels horse breathes fire but has gold armour. This is because gold has a high melting point and would be a sensible choice. A nice detail.
This is why I love elden ring, the little details like a death birds wings, or how certain enemies react to eachother
Most likely it is made from a gilded dragonbone or gravelstone, much like the weapons they use.
most holy weapons and ash of wars based on how they look:🔥
everthing regarding to holy damage:
🤮
Hey bushy. I just love your videos so much and I love you too man…honestly I was thinking about this challenge to tell you to do and here we go.
I'm still waiting for someone to beat demon prince (from dark souls 3 dlc) with just pure fire damage
he has 90% resistance to fire which means it should be theoretically possible to kill him this way
it'll just take like a few hours of surviving against one of the most dangerous bosses in from soft history
One incantation who would have made your life a lot easier was miquella’s ring of light, which is basically discus but wider, deals more damage and there are THREE of them
The problem might be fp consumption, since lower levels are more efficient
*Radagon's rings of light. Miquella's ring of light is the ash of war for the halo scythe
@@PolarTundra655 there are two miquella's ring of light, There is the ash of war and the incantation
@@rollingkirby Nope. There are three ring incantations. Discus of light, Triple rings of light and Radagon's Rings of light. You're thinking of triple rings of light.
I don't generally like the censoring, but of the noises you've used so far, I like the gunshot noise here.
Next you could do a disc only run
Dodge all of lorettas spells: this is fine
Loretta dodges one of his spells: WHAT!? NO!!
It's technically possible to finish Elden Ring with unupgraded weapon with the incantation.
if it deals any damage at all it is 'technically' possible to beat the game with that thing.... that doesnt make it realistic though
love these Elden ring challenge runs Bushy I look forward to watching these after work!
“worst damage type”
wait…
ohhhhhh… no
9:13 “your eagerness will be your undoing” - Darth Vader
Has anyone tried a low% run yet?
The game doesn't really track that much, so it'd be an honor system thing mostly.
Collecting few (or no?) weapons and spells beyond starting gear, beating as few bosses as possible (like skipping Draconic Tree Sentinel).
The details would need some hammering out, but something along the lines of:
"I tried beating Elden Ring doing as little as possible (low%)"
I remember seeing no inventory challange which sounds kinda similar. Although they collected upgrades for weapons, as you can use them without opening inventory.
@@MajkelKerman it was Bushy who made that I'm pretty sure
I Just Love how the Radahn fight perfectly ended with the music
I got one, Elden ring but I can only kill bosses with their own weapons

Although the idea of defeating remembrance bosses with the most absorbtion element did poped up in my head once or twice, I often thought to myself: “I am not that Masochist and also who would enjoy or make everyone enjoy such a playstyle ?”
I was wrong. On both. I enjoy this man gameplay…a lot. Even with this playstyle.
Also I am very concern about the fact that I am becoming more and more masochist.
I’ve been doing some challenge runs first was Torch only, the second was Gravity only, and I am currently doing Level 1 and it’s really fun
Remember if you need more fp use the moonlight skip to pick up a ton of Starlight shards
Man that Malenia only run really made you completely invincible against her hey
My run recommendation: Daggers only, you have to switch to a different dagger with each rememberance boss you defeat.
I think bushy is descending into madness with all these elden ring challenges
Magma spells only run
Next "can I beat elden ring by throwing rocks?"
Keep up the good work I love your content😃❤️
