No this just earned you an unsubb and block. Raid is such a trash game. Peace sellout
You've heard of min-maxing, now get ready for max-minning
@@half-blindentity9846 nope, that is absolutely not correct. Because a character with only Vigor isn't going to be able to do much damage. Min-Maxing: The concept of minimizing undesirable qualities of a character so as to maximize desirable qualities in order to achieve the most powerful character possible in an RPG.
@@Purriah I think he was kidding lol
@@Purriah i mean it kind of is correct, giantdad is a min max for endurance and vitality (health)
@@moonlight-qr6px Yeah, but only because of how ds1 worked. Min-maxing is maximizing your gain while minimizing the cost. Giantdad was minmaxed like that because you could just level vit and end while using a raw infusion with minimal damage loss, so it was the most efficient build point-per-point.
@@MetalHev slight correction, a chaos weapon was used for giantdad, raw is absolutely dogshit in ds1

I hope in the dlc they introduce more bosses who are weak to holy damage
Much like in dragons dogma where everything is weak to fire, in elden ring, everything resists holy. from this we can gather the wisdom "unga bunga burn this motha"
I'm a holy build (along with many others) and I do a good amount of damage especially with my red lighting
I almost let myself believe that Elden stars would actually do damage with 70 faith and a +10 erdtree seal
Bear in mind that's only 20% of the damage it's capable off. Against a boss with 0 holy resistance, that would be dealing in the low 2k
@@glorytoukraine5524 I mean, that’s still not very great damage for a “Legendary” Incantation. Ancient Dragon Lighting Strike was doing way more than that, on an easier cast, and with better AoE. Elden Stars is a comically terrible incantation, and desperately needs a huge buff.

My favorite thing about these types of runs is learning just how many attacks I should’ve dodge towards instead of away from
Bloodborne should've been a great example of doing that. Fromsoft likes to carry over mechanics like that.
ALWAYS dodge towards. Especially projectiles
@@jackwithrow536 alot of enemies punish that sorta thing unfortunately, godskin noble and commander nial for example
@@el_buro What do you mean? The only two attacks I can think of that they do that meets the "don't dodge towards" catagory would be Niall's frost AoE and Noble's flame circle, but aside from those two attacks and a couple others, you should be dodging towards an enemy's attack to minimize the amount of time you spend interacting with a hitbox. For example, if an attack is coming from your left and you dodge to the left, it's a lot more lenient on timing because you need fewer s to dodge that attack. There's always exceptions to every rule, I mean even Bloodborne had attacks you shouldn't dodge towards; BSB's poison AoE, and most AoE's in general are just easier to dodge by getting away from the attack.
Sometimes, its more efficient to roll away for example, when they charge. The timing is a little tide, but you have a greater window to damage them.
This run seems like a great teaser for a Elden Stars only run.

I hope this run will finally teach people who still think Elden Beast heals from holy damage, that he, in fact, does not heal from holy damage.
That being said, I don't know if the Black Knife was banned, but it's Ash of War deals holy damage and would've been great against most bosses.
Otherwise, great run!
he banned black flame despite ti being fire damage and not technically a status so its possibly he would say the same for the black knife becaus eof its health burn. I know the health gets returned after a bit but its still quite strong as it effectively lowers the bosses health by like 15%.
I believe the black flame is derived from destined death so it would make sense that destined death is also banned.

@@alexanderchipman9571 the katana is part of the prosthesis I think, gotta fight Melania again
Btw I love the Melania fight, it's the only fight that can withstand my bullshit builds, plus she got her arm cut off by radahn and still kept fighting
My first play through of Elden ring was the hardest not just because it was my first but also because I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE COOL TO USE HOLY DAMAGE FOR MY BUILD
This is one of many ways to test the endurance. Not physical, but mental.
The draconic tree sentinels horse breathes fire but has gold armour. This is because gold has a high melting point and would be a sensible choice. A nice detail.
This is why I love elden ring, the little details like a death birds wings, or how certain enemies react to eachother
Gold, a sensible choice for fire proof armour? What are you talking about!? First of all, Gold does not have a high melting point. It's only 1,064 C. Iron, the metal that most armour uses, has a much higher melting point of 1,538 C. Melting point isn't the only factor for heat resistance either. The wearer's resistance to fire would also be heavily dependent on specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity. Specific heat capacity is the capacity of a material to absorb heat. The higher the specific heat capacity, the more energy required to heat up a material to a certain temperature. Thermal conductivity is the capacity of a material to transfer heat. The higher the thermal conductivity, the faster the transference of heat from one side of a material to the other. So how does Gold actually fair in this respect? Gold has a specific heat capacity of 0.126 J/g C and a thermal conductivity of 310 W/m C. Iron has a higher specific heat capacity of 0.450 J/g C, and a lower thermal conductivity of 73 W/m C.
So with this in mind, gold is an awful choice for fire resistance. You will cook up much faster inside a suit of gold armour than you would in a suit of iron armour. This isn't nice attention to detail on Elden Ring's part. Most likely, the developers chose gold, because that represents the Golden Order that all these knights serve under. I'm not even sure if the armour is actually made from gold. It's described as golden, but that's probably just referring to the colour. Most likely it is made from a gilded dragonbone or gravelstone, much like the weapons they use.

hilarious that this is a challenge run cuz this is literally how I did my first playthrough
I replayed Eldenring recently and I had the Cipher Patas as my primary weapon. It was so much fun to use I didn't care about how many bosses resisted it. Eventually I did a re-spec into a Bolt of Gransax Lightning Warrior build. Most fun I've had in the game in a long time.
damn. just after i watched all the other videos a new one came out. your content is amazing keep going 👍👍
When I see people play aggressive I'm like "damn why do I play so passively" then I remember IT'S A SOULS GAME
@magnum idk if any of them are harder/easier than one another. Just challenging in different ways. Depends on various factors (which game you played 1st is usually the hardest. Playstyle is a big factor too.)
Moving quickly through levels, and being aggressive vs bosses is always better than the reverse though.
I Just Love how the Radahn fight perfectly ended with the music
One incantation who would have made your life a lot easier was miquella’s ring of light, which is basically discus but wider, deals more damage and there are THREE of them
The problem might be fp consumption, since lower levels are more efficient
*Radagon's rings of light. Miquella's ring of light is the ash of war for the halo scythe

It looks like he's lighting the Gargoyle's balls on fire and it's hilarious
Has anyone tried a low% run yet?
The game doesn't really track that much, so it'd be an honor system thing mostly.
Collecting few (or no?) weapons and spells beyond starting gear, beating as few bosses as possible (like skipping Draconic Tree Sentinel).
The details would need some hammering out, but something along the lines of:
"I tried beating Elden Ring doing as little as possible (low%)"
I remember seeing no inventory challange which sounds kinda similar. Although they collected upgrades for weapons, as you can use them without opening inventory.
@@MajkelKerman it was Bushy who made that I'm pretty sure
“Prophet is the starting class… because I need Jesus.” Is still great
i saw the thumbnail and clicked on this thinking "worst damage type" meant "holy damage only" lmao
Although the idea of defeating remembrance bosses with the most absorbtion element did poped up in my head once or twice, I often thought to myself: “I am not that Masochist and also who would enjoy or make everyone enjoy such a playstyle ?”
I was wrong. On both. I enjoy this man gameplay…a lot. Even with this playstyle.
Also I am very concern about the fact that I am becoming more and more masochist.
I love the idea of holy magic being its own category, since incantations were begging for good perks in the past. Then Elden Ring comes along and says "your mission is to fight the members of the holy order, who are all resistant to holy. The supporting bosses consist of rebels against the holy order, who have themselves become resistant to holy. Will you use holy?"
Also thank you for giving me more ammo against Malenia quitters. Seriously what the f-
My run recommendation: Daggers only, you have to switch to a different dagger with each rememberance boss you defeat.
Holy damage isn't bad itself. It just happens that we are basically fighting the Vatican the whole game.

"We should be good" *accidentially walks off a cliff and dies*
This is the entire soulsbornering franchise in a nutshell
I'm still waiting for someone to beat demon prince (from dark souls 3 dlc) with just pure fire damage
he has 90% resistance to fire which means it should be theoretically possible to kill him this way
it'll just take like a few hours of surviving against one of the most dangerous bosses in from soft history
While I know you needed INT for some of the holy damage incantations later (along with Sword of Night and Flame), there is actually a solid magic damage incantation you could have used for those bosses - glintstone dragon breath (or named version). Long wind-up and high cost, but long range, wide area, and high damage, so it'll probably hit even if the enemy moves some.
13:05 If mimic tear didn't have its own negation, you could've tried using armor to build against a specific damage type then using that damage type yourself to kill it
I can't believe I just watched Bushy dodge waterfowl flawlessly from right under Malenia's fucking feet. God amongst men.
Flame of the Redmanes probably would've worked on Godskin because it's wide spread when targeted and poise damage
I love how in most examples, the "most replayed" part of the video is just the part like 0.1 seconds after the sponsor.
" Local tarnished shoving holy cheese ( Faith) on demi-gods throats killing them all "
I find it sad that holy weapons kinda suck. Because they don't suck in general, just in terms of everything having resistance to their main type of damage.
I’m so happy this was uploaded on my birthday this was one of my favorite challenges so far!
17:42 I look down to eat my dinner.

For as much as elden stars costs it needs a huge buff
Wow, I knew holy damage sucked but i never realised it was this bad. The only major boss that doesnt have 40% holy resist or higher is the regal ancestor spirit, and maybe loretta if you're feeling charitable enough to call her a major boss. Everything else resists it by 40% or more. That's utterly insane, especially since a portion of holy damage is literally godslaying with the black blade and black knives and whatnot
just fyi, stat requirements only affect ash of war usability, you can equip any weapon in the game regardless
Looking at the thumbnail and title, I expected this to be a Holy damage only run.
Glad to see I wasn't mistaken.
Using holy damage against bosses in elden ring is the equivalent of splashing holy water on roid-up jesus
Buddy missed an epic opportunity to use the great envoys horn weapon art and blow bubbles
I could be sleeping, but I think I'll watch this first. I think I made the correct decision
Edit: why is holy so damn worthless, I worked hard for that Tree Sentinals weapon damn it
Sacred scorpion charm, flocks canvas talisman, radagon icon and dragoncrest shield, with triple rings of light, wrath of gold, sacred blade on a clayman spear, or other weapon with good fth scaling, Miquellan knights sword, orders blade there are a ton of unique weapons that naturally do holy damage. A prime example is black blade, golden order greatsword, and for dex option black knife and ornate swords.. I also feel that sacred blade also works well with sacrificial axe. Golden land is good. Holy has alot of powerful attacking options if you have decent faith. A problem though is all the enemies that have holy resistance.
The thing with elemental weapons is that they are alot more complex than physical ones. Enemy resistance plays a huge role in the damage you do as well as your attribute scaling. If you use a holy weapon with no faith for example, you will lack. Same goes if you are using a hybrid weapon and only fth but no str or dex. Elemental weapons are powerful but demand more investment for not only stats but also information as you have to know the best things to use them against. Holy is in fact the attribute that replaced the dark attribute from dark souls which, despite people thinking it sucks. Is always VERY strong in each game and its own fully developed elemental type. Same goes for holy. :)
@@nebulouscat2210 Oh I've got all that stuff, I'm just kinda wowed by the fact that they made so many cool Faith weapons and spells for it and then made it the most common resistance
Aside from lobos, bushy has been one of the most entertaining elden ring content creators
The only thing wrong with this run is that Melania’s greatest weakness is actually letmesoloher
Very fun fact about not allowing black flame, it's actual not allowed no matter what. Although the spells do deal fire damage, the DOT effect isn't fire damage. You can see this when using black flame incantations against the man-serpents as they are immune to fire damage.
