Are there any of these practices that dont rely so much in breathing? Right now, with a Bronchitis that doesnt go away I feel like my breath is the part of my body that I cant really trust...
I hope you're feeling better. Another anchor for meditation that can be helpful and calming is your heartbeat. With not trusting your breath (or beginning to trust it again) it may be helpful to still focus on it, but also to determine the pattern, quality, limitations of the breath. At that time you can tell yourself you're safe, you're okay, you're healthy etc and help give some extra TLC to an area in need ❤
Nope, since i was born i've always been two separate entities that do not agree nor work together, a complete cognitive dissonance between my mind and body, eyes and mouth. I have to think what to move before moving the body parts most of the time.
