Here is a few tips from me, whom has a good bit of time in this game as after seeing you play, made me wanna get it. Those big white rocks you were near at around 19 minutes in? Those have a decent chance to drop Iron. Which is the hardest metal to get. Also you WILL want to have massive stockpiles of EVERYTHING. All the wood, all the planks, nails etc. Finally, Mangrove Trees are where ye get the sticks. Those trees next to/in the water with the really complicated root system which you jumped over some of at around 20 minutes in. Just before ye caught the firefly. You just need a Copper Pickaxe to break them. Lastly, those blue faced birds with the crest on the head? Those ARENT Emus. Those are Cassowary. Or rather, the ingame equivalent of such. Their HIGHLY aggressive and dangerous. Even RL. Those things have killed people with those bony crests or their sharp talons. Oh and that item you got stuck on the tower? That was a chunk of Amber. You will want to make yourself a sorta stairway up there and get that, cause that thing is worth SERIOUS Moolah. We are talking at LEAST in the 20-30K range. Ive seen em go over 50K for one.
Mangrove trees were those brown trunked trees that were growing in the water along the shore of the river. They have roots that look kinda like a hand with splayed out fingers.
You can get tin sheets by chopping a tin bar in the saw mill grill
That’s an amber nugget you can sell for lots at johns shop at the scales. Oops it’s on top of the teleporter now .
I absolutely love this game so far. It really reminds me of Animal Crossing in the best ways, and I really love how much it seems to reward exploration. The prices are a little high (pretty sure even Tom Nook wouldn’t charge that much for a grill), but the game definitely gives you ways to earn money pretty quickly. Plus the terraforming seems pretty simple. I hope this series continues. I would love to see more.
You can found tin sheet from digging burried barrel randomly, keep up the great work grill.
Chop down the trees with the twisted roots by the water to get the mangrove sticks. By the grinder/ crusher put shiny stones in to get random stuff or put in stones to get concrete, I hope that you can build up to the top of the tower to get the amber because that should be worth about 30k- 60k

Pro tip: test all machines with all materials to see if they do anything or buy the book from trader that tells you what machines do. The scale in his shop is for big rocks or gems to weight and sell to him. You’ll know when you find one lol 😂

23:00ish, your fishing went up for pearl diving. Weird, but that's it.
I know as I found one first day and I don't even have the fishing skill; but I got some points.
Oddly the pearl also shows up under foraging, so I think it counts twice.
Grill you can hit drums with your spear usually 1 hit and somethings in the drums sell for quite a lot of cash er I mean dinks.👍
Could you possibly put stone in the furnace? Maybe that will give you clay or cement or something?
If you end up starting over start up on the big inlands in the middle
Little known fact in Australia carp is actually a pest and you can't throw them back into the water you have to throw them on the bank
You found out yet you can store stuff in "Your Travel Bag" left side inside Base tent!
Ya I think that is the thing you take with you in multiplayer so you can access that stuff in friends world
Absolutely enjoy watching you play but the gold nugget that might still be on top of the tower.. could you build a sand staircase up to get it down
Terraform earthen "pillars" in the water in order to extend a bridge all the way across the water behind your tent?
There is a STONE SMASHER you can buy which makes cement with stones you insert. How much you wanna bet that if you stick a Shiny Stone in there it will release what's inside? I got this game too, even though I wasn't very impressed graphics wise with it. It's kinda fun and very laid back. Did you know it's the most popular selling game on STEAM right now???

You can sell the nugget you found to the guy at the shop you carry it and weigh it up in the shop and then sell it to John the shop keeper grill

Think I saw were you could mark areas on map not seeing u doing so
instead of breaking your tools when they are almost broken sell them back to john you get like 400 for it so you are getting something back from it then buy a new one

That's a pretty fair starting strategy at least until you can upgrade your tools. Then, it would be best to upgrade your nearly broken tools and they'll be Tier 2 and like new. But it also works from Tier 2 to Tier 3 Tools. Just use them up until they're nearly broken then make sure only the near broken one is in your inventory when you go to upgrade it.

Idk about any one else, but the way he has the ground on the town side of the bridge bothers me. Maybe push the ground back a couple spaces and make stairs 🤔
Another game where you pay for everything yourself and do ALL the work and it's still NOT yours!! Even when you get the Mine you'll still need to buy a Mine Pass at John's for 25 thousand Dink so you can visit it for a day! Hell, it ought to be yours! You bought it and built it with your materials... But you can't go in without a Mine Pass ...EVER!!!!
HUNTING FTW !!! Just poke them crocks a few times and walk them into the trap! If they're weak enough they won't try to break the cage and you'll be able to pick them up and drop them off at the drop-off point. Lot's money !! Selling CDs to Franklyn is also a lot of Dinks !!!
