I think someone already mentioned this but you've already seen mangrove trees in a previous episode. They grow by water and have gangly roots that reach into the water
you should fence your lil chicken, so it's not going anywhere. You can get Mangrove stick by chopping mangrove tree, if u look at the map there's black square on the shore lines ,there you'll find mangrove tree. for spinifex resin you can get by put a spinifex tuft on the campfire. you can put the shiny stone on the grinder for random ores. Great vids. Love it
just a tips, you should turn on "move camera with mouse" on the settings so you don't have to keep holding shift or middle mouse to turn the camera around. I found out that this was helpful.
If you got better mining an logging licenses you would be able to make better tools. You might have to make a pyramid of dirt or teraform ladder of sorts to the top of the teleport tower to get that amber chunk back.
For the spinifex resin you cut the plant that looks like darker grass which gives you a spinifex tuft that can place in the fire to turn into spiniflex resin. Usually see it more in the desert spots but also random ones here and there.
clearing out the regular rock you have a chance to get gems and they pay a good amount. the trees you're looking for are the ones that grow in the water and you passed by some near were you have the diamond mark on your map.
Animal Crossing is probably the series I’ve put the most hours into, so this game really, really appeals to me. I wish I had a good computer right now. Lol. Also, with all the predators around, I would put a lot of fences around little Sheep. Especially since they apparently headed across the bridge to crocodile territory first thing. 😅 Anyway, I’m loving this series. I could see losing hours just using that metal detector. Reminds me of the digging mechanic in Pokémon Diamond a little bit, and I played that for hours and hours. And the stuff you get is so useful. I’m glad you were able to make one of the teleporters already. I died a little when I saw the price of that amber chunk, though. That was hilarious. Lol
I told ye last episode where to get the Mangrove Sticks. And about how the thing on the tower was an amber chunk and its monetary value. There are at least 3 other things you can find as well to sell like that. First is beehives. You can toss those onto the little scale and get more money than selling the honey. Second is Fossils. The Helix Fossil to be exact. You can rarely find those from breaking rocks. The final one is when you get the deep mine building. Giant gems, Rubies to be specific. Not sure if there are others of those gems, I only encountered rubies. In said mine the fossils are also much more common. About the Mangrove Sticks though. Those trees and stumps that are on the river side and have a large tangled mess of roots holding them up are Mangrove Trees. Chop them down to get the sticks. Finally, for your new little Sheep, you will need to fence it in, to protect it from predators. You will also need to give it a feeder thing to eat from. You can buy that from Irwin's store. Oh and Irwin is actually a cameo/reference if you actually stop and think about it. His name is Irwin, and he is dressed in Khakis. Also he deals with animals.
No worries. I know how ye feel. I picked up the game cause of your playing it actually. And Ive got a fair bit of time in. The most difficult part, for me, is managing my time to get the things needed for the museum and to make folks happy. Its a pain having to scour the specific biomes for a single bug left, for example, that only appears at a certain time of the day, such as early mornings. Oh and fun tip for ye. You can put down fish you catch and bugs, in their own little cages. But you have to PLACE them down, not use Q or whatever to drop em.
just an idea but maybe sticks are from the planks like tin sheets from the ingot. and maybe you can plant crops the same way as the trees, worth a try at least.
Levelling up your stats decreases the amount of stamina you use on each stat you level that’s what the levelling system does when you go to sleep and the wild animals like the crocodile can kill your chicken might be safer to fence them off aha
What if you tried dropping another resource where you did the amber on the fast travel antenna? Maybe it could bump it out? Don't really know just brain storming 😂.
Didn't the lady say in the previous video, that you need something like 5 people to get the town hall? So maybe that's supposed to be your next quest in the game? To get 5 people to stay?
Ya but it takes FOREVER to get them to want to stay lol I just got my first person and that's after the next two videos x.x but all should follow quickly. Ya gotta do 3 jobs each and they only show up at random every two days
Can you take a sleeping bag with you so you can sleep wherever you at when on a journey instead of having to come all the way back to base to sleep….just a thought I was having

You could use the dirt to make some (stairs) to get your amber from the tower. But it’ll take a lot of dirt.

Fence in Sheep Grill. Fence/walls will protect your chook from the dingos and crocs

You can plant seeds in the red dirt areas. You just need seeds in your hands. The synth helps you get seeds from grass easy.

Mangroves grow on shorelines. They are small, slim with a multiple branching root
you need to get the feeding tray for the chicky
the resin stuff is the dried grass thrown into the fire and it magickly turns into the resin lol

You can sell your tools back when they're only a hit or 2 away from breaking. Recoup something for it.

Leveling up your skills will give you access to higher levels in your licences
