Talking about seatblelts...it's a very important for a knife to be available. A few years ago, I heard a wreck. It was a car that flipped, ended upright and the driver was injured and disoriented. His belt held him in when he needed to exit. I ran to the car being the man I am to help....but didn't have a knife. Believe it or not, he had a card knife in his wallet that I retrieved, got him to safety....then the cops acted like I was a criminal as I'm helping this man. If he was a criminal, it shouldn't mean that a human life shouldn't be saved or helped.....the trials and tribulations come later.

I like the Knife and the video! " Designed for military and law enforcement" but priced outside of what most of your target audience would pay. I realize the costs associated with high in steel and quality knives but I would not pay the price for this knife, and I own some high end knives.

cobratzi1 They need a kydex sheath. I understand that the machining of the aluminium sheath is expensive but I still don’t have the money for one. Kydex sheath and drop the price to 350-400. They’d make a killing selling these.

A pair of disposable trama Scisors work even better for most of these tasks, and much more safely and less destructive, but aren't as "TactiCool".
Have some good scisors, plural, if you do this kind of work, and medical shears if you do it near people you don't know. Keeps things from escalting physically or mentally.

So if I’m trapped in my car and have to cut the seatbelt hive to put on gloves and safety goggles

No offense to anyone; but my Becker BK-2 can do everything demonstrated here. If I lose it, or break it (not likely), I'm out less than $100.

Agreed. The process and materials that go in to making one of these blades are really cool and expensive. The Nanoweapon coating on the blade seems incredible, but do people really NEED that? Or the differentially hardened triple tempered PD1 steel? Doubt it, but they're nice features to have if you can afford them. Still a very cool blade.

Im sure its a great knife but grossy over priced for real users. Reminds me of Mad Dog knives. Is this video about the knife or how to take a car apart? A sharpened piece of crappy steel and a box cutter will do everything he just did.

Addison Esslinger I don’t think 395 is overpriced. It’s alot of money, yes but quality is expensive. Pair that with a high end steel and the Nano coating, 395 isn’t that much.

I just need to say that: for a "395 dollars price tag knife" (sheath not included); i perceive the "G10 handle scales" as a very poor choice to say the least (like "wood tires on a Ferrari"; almost "an insult to the customers"...)
Hope to see a "linenMicarta option" in the future on the site (at least canvas... But linen would be better).
    P.S.
I wrote an esaustive post about "the reasons of my statement" (based on my experience "in my rainy place and beyond", that sound "harsh and annoying") so i decided to keep it on a side, for now...
I don't want to offend anybody, it is just that i am "a bit too direct as a person" (IRL i am even worse); and my limited knowledge of the english language do the rest...
    P.P.S.
I own three AR-15; all three are equipped with an "SSA" trigger... Just saying...

Grappolidipalma If you think that G10 is like wood tires on a Ferrari then micarta is the the same except different kind of wood. The cost is almost the same and they are both laminated materials. In my opinion compared to micarta, unpolished G10 has the slightest amount of less grip when wet. But I think that G10 has a practical edge to micarta in the way of being much easier to clean. So a real insult to the customer would be to use plastic or rubber grip panels. G10 is very good, so is micarta.

Don't try this at home? I have just found out the price. Seriously? Sounds like a con. No way it cost that much to make. Which means he is making a big profit! Nothing special about this knife.

Nobody really needs this. It seems cool in theory, but I'm sure military guys at a checkpoint have tools for the job with them in their vehicles, same with cops. These tools are on hand in their patrol vehicle. If not they take it back to be properly looked at. A cop's not gonna carr one of these. There's just no justification unless you are as him, a spec ops guy that doesn't want another tool on his rig. Ok then.

"Need" is hard to qualify. Does anyone "need" a combat knife at all? If you do, why not have a quality knife?
