This guy is just incredible! His perfect throwing technique associated to an unparalleled mobility and explosiveness makes him a unique discus thrower.
TIL there are no wind limits for records in throwing events... I was wondering how anything done in Oklahoma could count: It's always so windy there!
Impossible to see if he lower his foot and touch above the ring. The camera cannot catch it from this perspective. The flag man is too far away to be able to notice. Btw, still pending ratification.

@@Kk-uk6my Yes, who could see from that angle? You need a camera on the ground. Also too bad the official was not even close to the cage.
@@grumpythrower239 The first angle may be difficult, but the second shot should clear up any doubts (1:35 up...). The referee didn't have time to see it. Besides, he could be under pressure :)

Well done!
"... that is not yet a Lithuanian record ..."
I think he stepped out the back too soon on the actual WR throw, but the judge let it go
That's no longer a foul. As long as youre under control, you van leave the back early.
what is the rule you're referring to? can you explain it because i'm not a discus guy
I find this hard to believe
well it happened
@mantasvilunas2636 apparently it was very windy there, so I guess so
@@loveydovey4uhaving a head wind can actually help the discus go farther. It keeps it in there air longer, hence, it goes farther
Wind+Form=Record
@@bfabes5420 hence all discus world records are achieved with headwind. the previous one too, by the way.
