I had a lot of the same little thing's, only they were Holly Hobbie. My sister and I shared a bedroom and we both loved Holly Hobbie. We had the wall plaques with the ribbon behind them. We had the Holly Hobbie trash can, clock, collector plates that hung on the wall. All the doll's, purses, you name it We had it. I still have a few items I saved. My favorite thing I saved is the life size Holly Hobbie ragdoll. Wonderful memories from what feels like a magical part of childhood.
I love it, Deborah! My mom collects Holly Hobbie and she has had lots of the same things too. They are just so cute!
I like the Jewelry collection most of all.

Just wow!! I was so excited for you going through those boxes of treasures! The face you made while turning the music box lol! I was doing the same thing, I was like what are those boxes and when you found out I was blown away too...never seen them! They're freaking amazing! That's so funny the story you shared about the vitamin boxes...at least your mom bought you SSC stuff lol. Ahhhh so much goodness in that haul...the berrykin door hanger (I was surprised it existed when I first found mine), the colouring books, the BBM mix box. I love the promo items like the shoe lace promo stuff and that little sign that says Welcome to the World of SSC...never seen that before. Congrats on the ULTIMATE haul!

I NEVER had the Strawberry Shortcake Vitamins either:(. My Brother and I were given the Flinstone vitamins. However, I can understand why your Mom was concerned about giving those delicious candy tasting Vitamins because I know someone who at 3 years of age ate a whole bottle of Flinstone vitamins and she told me, "[She] was up all night for 3 nights straight!!!!". You'll have to keep your Holly Hobbie sheets. They don't make SSC dresses, raincoats, etc, etc. Because I didn't want ANYTHING near me that wasn't Strawberry Shortcake! 😁😁

apparently there was a necklace of girl plum in the style of those ones near the end? Ive seen it like. once. she is my favorite character I'm so sad that all of her merchandise is so expensive.... also butter cookie is the kid. her pet is named jelly bear!
