- William The Artist met with Muriel Fahrion, the world famous artist behind Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, the Get Along Gang and more!
She tells us about her journey to making the iconic characters, and shows us some of her current projects as well!
Muriel is so inspiring! It's fascinating to hear from the artist who created such an iconic character. The Strawberry Shortcake brand has had such a positive impact on my life.

Her style is round and soft and so 70s but also really timeless, I just love it... Just iconic.
Love this woman! She made my childhood so much better with her creative, sweet characters! Her personality does not disappoint, either.
This artist is responsible for soooo much of my childhood and adult happiness. I collect Vintage Strawberry Shortcake dolls and am building a collection of them for my young granddaughters to play with when they're old enough. She has left a legacy that will definitely live on in the hearts of many, many people.

I am 2 years older than Strawberry Shortcake & have loved her ( as well as The Care Bears) as far back as I have memories. Throughout some really tough times in my life they have always brought a smile to my face & a sense of a safe, happy place. It is so nice to see the person responsible for their creation. I know American Greetings wanted to sell cards/merchandise, but Muriel provided joy to millions with her art, that's real success. The Big Adventure of little Strawberry Shortcake and her gang
Story: It all starts in Strawberryland when little Strawberry Shortcake, Raspberry Lock, Lemon Drop, Orange, Plum and Amora Linda were playing in the playground. Until they notice the presence of the evil wizard Fausto. The villain uses the time crystal The girls follow the villain and discover that Fausto's plan is to leave the city of Coração de Esperança trapped in a terrible winter. The villain intends to steal several fruits to strengthen his scepter of evil. The girls are enchanted by six couples called:
detective Adrian and his wife Fernanda Rios
Detective Elias and his wife Alice Gouveia
bakers Paulo and Julia Maguire
pastry chefs Matias and Guadalupe Porter
blacksmiths Luciano and Samira Carter
doctors Leandro and Dalila Garcia
The couples meet Strawberry Shortcake and her gang and promise to help them fight the villain. Strawberry Shortcake and his gang make friends with Adrian and his friends. Fausto creates several obstacles. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends go through the obstacles created by the villain. Faust flies into a rage. Strawberry Shortcake and his allies fight Fausto. They destroy the villain's scepter. Faust is sent to another dimension. Strawberry Shortcake and his allies save the earth. Strawberry Shortcake and his gang decide to live on the land with the new families they gained. Strawberry Shortcake is adopted by the Rios couple. Raspberry Cachinho is adopted by the Gouveia couple, Lemon Drop is adopted by the Porter couple, Laranjinha is adopted by the Maguire couple. Ameixinha is adopted by the Carter couple. Amora Linda is adopted by the Garcia couple. They throw a beautiful victory party and celebrate the arrival of Strawberry Shortcake and her gang on Earth. End
Little Strawberry Shortcake and the arrival of little Cherry
Story: It all starts in the city Heart of Hope where little Strawberry Shortcake and her friends Raspberry Butterfly, Lemon Drop, Laranjinha, Ameixinha and Amora Linda were having a barbecue with their families. They welcome detectives Gustavo and Helena Campos. The couple is grateful for the welcome from Strawberry Shortcake and her friends. They reveal that it is a great pleasure. Suddenly a portal opens, little Cerejinha appears running away from the evil Nicanor who is known as the master of snow. The villain intends to steal all the cherries in the world. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends protect their new friend. The villain escapes during the fight. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends promise to help little Cherry stop Nicanor. Little Cerejinha is happy with the support of her new friends and gains the affection of the Campos couple. Nicanor appears and kidnaps Strawberry Shortcake's foster families and friends. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends promise they will save their adoptive families. Nicanor creates several obstacles, Strawberry Shortcake and his friends overcome the obstacles created by the villains. The villain flies into a rage when he sees Strawberry Shortcake and her friends. They fight the villain and destroy the time crystal. The villain is sent to another dimension. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends free their foster families. Strawberry Shortcake's adoptive families and their friends thank them for their help, along with the couple Gustavo and Helena. . Strawberry Shortcake and her friends reveal that it is a great pleasure to help them and release them from prison. They emerge from the villain's hideout celebrating that they saved the world and all the cherries. Little Cerejinha is adopted as a daughter by Gustavo and Helena. They return to the welcome barbecue at the Rios' house and celebrate the victory. A month later, Gustavo and Helena show the room to little Cerejinha. Little Cerejinha is happy with the affection from the Campos couple and hugs them. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends, along with their adoptive families, are happy for the happiness of the Campos couple and little Cerejinha. End
Will the older vinyl records ever be re released??? I have the Picture disc of the Sunflower Market and over the Rainbow.... Would love to see these and other LPS re released..... I have some of the dolls and even ate the cereal as a kid........

Baby Strawberry Shortcake and her gang: the terrible battle of the fruit master
History: For a long time in Strawberryland, there lives baby Strawberry Shortcake and her little friends Lemon Drop, Blackberry, Orange, Raspberry Butterfly, Plum and Cherry. They are protected by a kind fruit wizard: Marcelo. Marcelo is the brother of the evil wizard Fausto. The villain intends to steal all the fruit in the world, but to do so he needs the girls to make the fruit disappear. Marcelo finds Fausto and teleports the girls to another dimension. The villain follows them and Marcelo tries to stop him, but is injured by the villain. In the city Flor de Rubi lives a beautiful young man called: Nicolas Porter and his six friends called:
Fernanda Rios
Gabriel Maguire
Cristina Miller
Leticia Campos
Daniel Garcia
But the lives of these young people would change when they met Strawberry Shortcake and her friends. Nicolas sees the crystal shine, they see the image of Marcelo who asks Nicolas and his friends to take care of the girls since he won't be able to do that. Nicolas and his friends promise to take care of the girls. Nicolas becomes responsible for Strawberry Shortcake, Fernanda becomes responsible for Gotinha de Limão, Gabriel becomes responsible for Amora Linda, Cristina becomes responsible for Laranjinha. Leticia becomes responsible for Raspberry Lock and Plum, Daniel becomes responsible for Cherry. Nicolas and his friends adopt Strawberry Shortcake and her friends as daughters. Fausto invades the city and finds Strawberry Shortcake and her friends accompanied by Nicolas and his friends. Nicolas and his friends fight with Fausto to defend Strawberry Shortcake and his friends and discover that the villain killed Marcelo. They defeat Faust and destroy the villain's ring. The villain is destroyed in the fight. The fruits and the city and the girls are safe. Nicolas and his friends throw a beautiful victory party and welcome Strawberry Shortcake and her friends to the city. Nicolas and his friends promise that they will take care of Strawberry Shortcake and her friends with love. End

Strawberry Shortcake and the great battle of the Lord of Fruits
Story: It all starts in Strawberryland where Strawberry Shortcake and her friends Lemon Drop, Blackberry, Orange, Plum and Raspberry Butterfly were walking through the park. Until the evil Faust known as Lord of Fruits decides to steal fruits from another time. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends come face to face with the evil Fausto. They head to the time portal. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends arrive in the modern city Coração de Bibi where a beautiful young man named Daniel Carter lives. Daniel is the son of pastry chefs Elias and Alice. Daniel has four friends named:
Gustavo Miller (son of bakers Mauricio and Renata)
Fernanda (daughter of beauty salon owners: Paulo and Julia Porter)
Marcelo Gouveia (son of blacksmiths Livia and Eduardo)
Leticia Maguire (daughter of engineers Flávio and Regina)
Meanwhile, Strawberry Shortcake and her friends discover that the fruits have disappeared from the city. They are found by Daniel and his friends. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends tell the story to Daniel and his friends. Daniel and his friends begin to meet Strawberry Shortcake and her friends and promise to help them. They are happy with the support of Daniel and his friends. Daniel's families and friends realize that the fruits have disappeared. Daniel and his friends tell the story to their parents. They are happy with their parents' support. Daniel's families and his friends meet Moranguinho and his friends. The Fruit Lord creates several obstacles for Strawberry Shortcake and his allies. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends overcome the various obstacles created by the villain. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends arrive at the villain's hideout. They fight the villain. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends defeat the villain. The Fruit Lord ends his days in prison. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends find the fruits and return the fruits to the whole city. Strawberry Shortcake and Lemon Drop are adopted by Daniel's family. Amora Linda is adopted by Gustavo's family. Laranjinha is adopted by Fernanda's family. Ameixinha is adopted by Marcelo's family. Raspberry Lock is adopted by Leticia's family. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends decide to live in modern times with their new families. They hide the time crystal in a safe place. Strawberry Shortcake and his friends throw a beautiful victory party to celebrate that the world and all fruits are saved. End
Excited to meet this lady but the camera work was pretty poor and the interviewer was a little too artificial. Trying too hard to seem interested. Frustrated to watch this. Really would’ve preferred more of her and less of him. Thank you for making this though.
