question is why they did ever start with FWD. Tested it once. It was catastrophic, spinning wheels all the time.
there was a polestar 2 testdrive event in my city and I was invited. I am in love with this car. The build quality is miles above tesla's.

Unfortunately still that way to big center console, which made me right knee hurt during my one hour test drive. So I bought a Model 3, because the room feeling is much bigger. Really sad, because as an ex Volvo driver I would love to change to Polestar. But in my opinion you get by far the most car for your money with Tesla. I still don't understand, why the guys designed this huge Polestar 2 so small inside!
However, Tesla seats are just awful after Volvo. I am a longtime Volvo fan, but chose Tesla this time.

@@mischa_solt I'm also very curious about the upcoming Volvo and Polestar EVs. The actual seats should be much better than in my 21 Model 3, but like in the Tesla, also in my last Volvos (S80 Summum, XC70 Inscription) I got back pain after some hours of driving.
I do agree about the interior design. The 2022 P2 we drove had some issues with the sloping floor and too much confined space in the front seat. What's with the sloping floor and centre console taking up so much space? They need to get rid of the slope, have a completely flat floor, and not have the central console jutting in so you can put your feet where you want.
Loving the Polestar 2. Can't wait until I get my 2024 model by end of October!

Shame they missed to include more interior storage space. The space you have in front to put things, cup holder etc. is just ridiculously small. I mean if you use both cup holders in the middle you cannot longer use the middle arm rest. Who thought about that?!

I could be misunderstanding but the model he showed passed the 600 km mark. Is he referencing the miles driven on the model or the driving range? Media says it maxes out at 320 miles

Hard to believe Polestar didn't fix the cupholder situation. I mean I love my Polestar 2 but having to have the center armrest open to accommodate a second drink makes no sense....
It is a design compromise that they should revisit, but it can be easily remedied with a 3D-printed cupholder that mounts to the glovebox or right-side of the center console. I've been using one for over a year instead of either of the two standard cup holders.

like tesla cars, they should add cameras around the car as a part of the plus pack whenever the polestar 2 gets upgraded again, that will for sure increase sales by a lot

Thanks for your question. The larger 82 kWh battery is not available for all versions of our cars, however, the range will still increase even in those without new batteries, thanks to new motors and batteries where applicable.
Polestar 2 for me in a year or two if the price keeps around the same. Looking good with the upgrades 👍

I hope you improved the cup holder situation, the 2022 model I have it is terrible and in the worst possible place. crazy that my biggest complaint about the car is the cupholder.

It's a Crossover (CUV) though. But yeah, I know what you mean.
It's practical though. We drove a P2 down a country lane, a green lane with the centre strip growing grass and weeds, and the two lanes full of potholes. It handled it without a problem. A low slung car is prone to all kinds of issues.
Aargh! Thomas, please would you fit reversing lights to the 2025 model? Honestly it is easier to reverse my 1935 Austin 10, and that doesn't even have two wing mirrors...
Please tell me you modified the throttle response, the old performance model was dull and only quick if you mashed the pedal. Cant wait to test

Why wasnt the awd equipped with the new battery pack ?
The new 82 kWh battery could not be installed in all models, and in all markets due to volumes and/or certification/homologation differences.

The cupholder issue was pointed out by almost everyone who uses Polestar 2, but it comes out the same again. And the interior is too small

Some markets won't get the 82 kWh battery due to homologation differences, however, there are still range increases for all versions ⚡️

if you adapted the CCS charger for TESLA! sure! :) but the interior is still SH* T... center tunnel in passenger.... cup holders are not in the right place.... interior feels so cramped compared to a model 3..... and with the model 3 highland coming out... idk how Polestar can actually keep up... just being HONEST

2 is too cluttered. That middle console is too big. Not airy enough. Def applying design language of 3 on this one would be so successful.
Make it more affordable and also not having simple options like blond spot monitoring as standard on 2023 cost you a lot of sales last year.
Yeah hopefully they can continue to push the price further down. It would be nice if the P2 becomes their affordable model, as I think none of the others will be very affordable to the average driver.

It's nice to see upgraded performance, range, and charging speed. But it also comes with price increase, which is the downside of most electric cars. And please get someone redesign the interior huge central console, we need improved interior space

When this comes with NACS as a standard I will buy.
All new Polestar vehicles sold in North America will be equipped with the NACS charging port from 2025. Adapters to help allow existing Polestar drivers access the network are expected in 2024 ⚡️

Mr. Ingenlath: When are you going to realize that putting driver controls into a touchscreen is unsafe? Online forum polls have showed that a majority of car owners want to keep physical buttons/dials, not get rid of them. And voice controls are not a valid replacement for physical buttons/dials; voice commands often don't work, it's another area in which software can fail, and there are many times when it's not possible or convenient to use voice commands (like when there's a conversation going on in the car, or when you're listening to music or radio, or when you're on a phone call, or if you have a sore throat and don't wish to speak). The ability to make changes by the driver by touching a computer screen in the car should be totally disabled when the car is in motion (just like we can't touch a smartphone when the car is moving); any important driver functions that cannot be so accessed while the car is moving should have physical buttons/dials for this purpose. This is not a step backward; rather, eliminating physical buttons/dials for audio, climate, drive mode, etc., is a step backwards. I like Polestar and Volvo cars (I've owned four Volvos), but I will never buy another Volvo or my first Polestar until/when/if you bring back physical buttons/dials for important driver functions. Who does it right? The same automakers who also have much nicer computer screens (both instrument panels and computer screens) integrated more into the dashboard than Polestar does: Kia, Lucid, Porsche, Hyundai, Cadillac, etc.
Bigger battery, more efficient, more hp.... impressive indeed by Polestar.

Sure, one might expect a higher-quality fob at this price class, but TBH, I haven't carried the fob for well over a year in favor of my phone as the key. No issues so far!

In Singapore, Polestar needs to get rid of the authorised dealer, market ur EVs directly, in order to hv your product marketed at the right price to gather more interested buyers.

Question will you commit to buy my Lemon polestar 2 back? My 2022 has been having nothing but issues. Screens reboot while driving, car hits the brakes at random times the list goes on and on and Polestar US is not being proactive on replacing my vehicle!!
