Tucker Carlson, Hickok45/ ,Canada Handgun Ban, & Potential 9mm Ban on Ammo

- In this episode Tucker Carlson interviews Hickok45, Marco Mendicino discusses the Canadian Handgun Ban, and Gun Stores like Select Shooting Supplies in Cambridge, start speaking out against the New Canadian Gun Laws that will be coming into effect.
Hickok45 and Tucker Carlson discuss Joe Biden's desire to ban the sale of all 9mm ammunition in the United States (which will affect Canadian Gun Owners as well).
CTV news interviews Marco Mendicino and pushes him on how he thinks this new Canadian Gun freeze will make a difference on gun crimes without attacking law abiding Canadian Gun Owners, and Select Shooting Supplies (a gun store in Cambridge, Ontario), speaks out against the new Trudeau/Mendicino Canadian Gun Freeze.
When Mendicino was asked if this will eventually lead to a total ban on handguns, Mendicino was very vague in his answer. I think that you and I, as law abiding Canadian firearms owners, already know the answer to this. It's really just a question of when will they try to implement this new Liberal gun control legislation and handgun ban.
I eventually believe they will try to take away long guns as well unless the Canadian Gun Community starts to get more vocal and politically active to prevent these kinds of things from happening.
Make no mistake, what happens in the US will also trickle down to Canada as well. The Liberal government has already used the Shooting event in Texas as an excuse to implement more laws in Canada. Yet they are doing so without having an impact on the real criminals responsible for gun crime in this country.

I haven't looked into it but my guess on any word of a US "ban" on 9mm and 5.56 would be because of their requirement to supply a seemingly unlimited amount of arms and munitions to Ukraine. If there's less/none available for the US civilian market, those millions and millions of rounds would be available to ship to places that actually need it, for the time being.
For some reason the survivors and victims of mass shootings suddenly become experts on gun violence. Another great example of emotion over facts.
I love how this reporter interviewing the Canadian politician just keeps drilling him, and pointing out how this won't work and the politician as usual keeps talking in circles.

@@chaddoyle9009 Yeah that’ll be the issue if this ridiculous thing gets passed. My Mossberg Maverick can hold more then 5, so the question is will we even be able to bring them to the range. Such a joke.
Exactly which "industry" leaders did Mendocino "listen too", and exactly what did "they" say? Oh, he means the "victim industry" not the firearms industry. That makes sense.
They don’t really care about what makes sense. They just want to push this through to make it look like they are doing something.
When I saw the 9mm on as the title I thought “oh shit, now Trudeau is banning 9mm!” Although it wouldn’t surprise me.
I’m now wondering what’s gonna happen with native Americans with this handgun ban. They kind of always had a special status. No blaming of course. After what they’ve been through, they deserve it. I just wonder if Trudeau’s going to bring in the military against them?
the 9mm is Biden’s idea. I think it will be very difficult to do it in the States, that being said, who would have predicted the entire economy and schools locking down for almost two years.

I'm mikmaq first nation we have our right to hunt and fish as usual here in nova scotia as we have since atleast the ice age 13,000 bc and now of course that includes the use of modern technology including modern firearms we aren't a fully sovereign nation yet but we thankfully have our rights protected and secured under the treaty of 1752 and 1763. our traditional lands and territory have never been ceded. some of the firearms they recently banned like some variants of these so called "assault weapons" we are still allowed to use them to hunt as usual if we already had them pre ban from my understanding now I can't just go buy one anymore cuz of the dissarm ban. handguns not so sure I don't own any I just have my non restricted pal. but if they brought military force against us then that would break these major treatys. I mean it wouldn't surprise nor the first time they did if they so desire to. also honorable mention to my father James Matthew Simon who fought the province and courts to have our rights to hunt and fish and had it appealed all the way to the Supreme Court just to have our treaty rights recognized, protected and upheld in the highest court for generations and generations to come.
@@greywendigo7026 the fishing and hunting I remember from school. It’s just a really scary thought that the current government kind of reopened Pandora’s box. Where outside of the October Crisis, the war measures act was only used in times of war, understandably so. Was the recent billions of dollars cheque giving over to the Native American communities as a “shut up and take this bride.” Although yes, I do know this whole reparations thing was going on for some time even before 2022. The whole timing only being mere days after the handgun ban seems just a little odd to me.
But how casually J Trudeau used the war measures act on protestors is quite disturbing. [although as a side note I’ll say prior to that the truckers issues kinda got muddled along the way and I didn’t think much of it. I will still agree the WMA wasn’t needed when a peace diplomatic solution was available] Who’s to say the next prime minister enacts it for far less.

Banning handgun ammo would pretty much shut down handguns in Canada.
No kidding. The only options would be to have knowledge of reloading. I’m assuming they haven’t even thought of that but who knows.
@@canadianrangenut2032 I suspect that when Biden took office he would do something like a $2 tax on each primer effectively pricing ammo out of reach.
There's really no way to confiscate 400 million guns. Confiscation here would lead to some messy situations.

Trudeau froze the bank accounts at the request of ottawa city council communists. Trudeau let their "interim police chief" lie about the request that was made. And the Liberals have seen scandal after scandal and now the freezing of monetary assets with what consequence? Are you going to pretend the end of 10 years in office in an election that Trudeau probably still wouldn't lose... because after blackface if he can get elected... so long as he wanted to run like "the king of canada" he could indefinitely do it... why? Because liberals control the media, the education system, etc. much like how a dictatorship would.
How can a person who helped draft C-68 like Jean Charest be allowed to run as a conservative? The only thing that made a "progressive conservative" progressive was the acceptance that abortion was and is inherently racist. Abortion by default can't "equally target the babies of all races" I mean it could but it would be highly unlikely. Liberals can call everyone else racist but... abortion is basically legalized genocide of disadvantaged minorities... that is one of the key reasons there is access correct? Otherwise they might be lying about ethnic minorities actually having it worse than everone else?
