it changes a lot, just keep it simple by eating pretty clean, and hitting 1g of protein per lb of body weight. no need to overthink it you can use a calculator online to calculate your TDEE, pretty much estimates how many calories you burn a day. i would start with whatever number it gives you, and track your food for a week and weigh yourself daily. if you’re on average still losing weight, up the daily calories by around 150-250 and repeat for another week until you’re gaining weight steadily. 0.5lb/week is a good rate to aim for. i’ve made the mistake of eating too much too quickly and you just gain pointless weight that you’ll have to spend extra time cutting for anyways. the slower approach is definitely better
when I first started I just did the normal push/pull/legs split with 3 exercises per muscle group, ex: for chest, bench press, incline dumbell press, and some sort of fly. for diet though, I started eating literally everything I looked at, which I wouldnt recommend but it worked for me. I track calories a lot better now and make sure to not eat garbage food all the time
@@ryanburryy i have another question how many weeks did it take you to notice gains and i have skinny arms and a kind of a chubby stomach is i been doing 100 psh ups every day i think my arms have gotten a little bigger but how can i lose stomach fat sorry for the rant and is cardio the eziest way to lose stomach fat
@@jaedanearly6500 all good bro, if you’re consistent you should notice changes within the first couple months but it really depends on the person and unfortunately you can’t target fat loss, if only it were that easy lol. if you are carrying more fat in your stomach, that just means you store more fat in your stomach due to genetics, the only way to lose that is by eating below maintenance level which is why tracking calories is so important! :-) cardio will help a ton too for sure. Even something that’s just 15-30mins daily can help. lmk if you have any other questions man!
Man I don't like to hate but, whats with all that random chest acne right as you start making big progress. I'm not trying to hate but it seems really suspicious.
nah you’re good bro, i had terrible back/chest acne going through puberty, then went on accutane and it cleared some of it up. just stuck with scarring now. I had it bad on my back since i was 15, chest didn’t start until around 16-17
