Found your videos recently, have been looking at getting the Big Rock but wasn't sure from some reviews. After watching this and seeing what it went through, I am for sure getting one. I don't bash anywhere near this hard. I drive RC cars fast and hard, but I sure don't send them to the moon. Great video, keep them up.

It looks a bit hard to control under speed bc of the short wheel base but it looks awesome on the Monster Truck/Skate Park course!! Hope to see you review it bc it’s totally your type of RC. @@KevinTalbotTV not sure if you saw the other post but Losi just released a true monster truck 1/8 scale that looks totally up your alley. The LMT has Grave Digger and son of grave digger Chasis. It can do front wheelies and all the monster truck course stuff. I just saw the add today.
I would go arrma for sure. I got one of these for my 3 year old and it has been destroyed for 2 months straight and has yet to break. And it is only half the price of the hoss.

Is the 3 s the same as the 4x4 mega other then the electrics
No it is not a lot of the parts are metal on the 3s that are not on the mega
@@andrewbrown8927 if you read the description on the mega v3 it says it's 3s ready and has the same upgraded aluminum hinge pin points. I don't see any difference other than the power system
@@theguyinthecomments9543 trust me it is not the same the mega version has a bunch of plastic parts that are metal on the blx. It looks exactly the same but it is not don’t be fooled.

3 things you must do before using this truck . #1 Replace the steering servo , they are junk .
#2 Make sure the shocks have enough oil in them . Only one of mine had a tiny bit in it and the rest were dry .
#3 Add more grease to the front a rear differentials . Mine had almost none in both .

I've been a traxxas fan boy and after s few weeks with my new rustler 4x4 bls-2 I think I want a 3s big rock!! All of my trucks are traxxas except for my little arrma granite grom which I find myself always playing with.... and damnya just can't beat an arrma on durability 💯

Quick rc tip.. during the winter, aluminium is better than plastic because as kev says, plastic flexes when it drops, but in the winter it sort of freezes up, so no flex, so more stuff will break. Aluminium is better for winter and cold :)

I use an SLT3 on my RC lawnmower. It works great. Zero delay, super accurate. And thats really important for a radio controlled death machine lawn mower. Lol
