Stopped in at O'haver about 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday. No availability, booked solid. It is a nice place but it's too close to a populated area to hope to just pull in and get a site. The poor camp host already had a line of people there at 9 in the morning, bugging him for availability. I saw him struggling to keep everyone straight so i finally thanked him for his time and left. We were caught up in that situation last year north of pagosa springs, people were flat asses about hovering over the campers that were getting ready to leave and some even unloaded some their items right in around the current campers as the packed up.. Don't get me wrong, i watch your videos all the time but i look for dispersed. Less idiots is a positive...
Love your UA-cam channel! I’m glad someone is scoping out the sites for us so we know what to expect! Especially for those of use you live 10+ hours away 👏🏻🥰
That was a good review of O'Haver Lake Campground. We stayed there once and it was enjoyable. We also drove the road to Marshall Pass which is on the old roadbed for one of the many narrow gauge railroads.

Things are getting crazy in the area! I like go further west to avoid some of the crowds.

Does #12 hold two tents?

I need to go back and check out Marshall Pass. Been to O'Haver Lake twice but never went west of there.
If you are going to make videos, you could at least learn the proper pronunciation! It’s pronounced O Hav er lake, the a is the long sound
