I'm right there with you, I love GNR and some Def Leppard. I've gotten more into Disturbed, System and a few others. I just recently started listening to Volbeat. My cousin loved these guys. I started listening to them in her honor. I never expected to love them as much as I do. She and her husband were more into heavier stuff so I was shocked when I heard them and how tame they are compared to the other types of music they like. I would so love to go to see them in concert, for her.
I live right outside Philadelphia, I can't wait for Volbeat to come to this area. I'm 64 my 29 year old son introduced me to this band. Love him for that!

The best thing about this show was the length of the concert they played and with very little stopping. You didn't have a chance to take a break, they filled nearly 2 hours of amazing music. Not many bands give an amazing set like that now a days.

Holy shit...these guys are great live. I'm amazed at the quality of this. Concert recordings on youtube are mostly shit. With this, I can understand the lyrics and the music sound is phenomenal. Wish I was at that concert. Great set list, though I would have wanted more songs from their Outlaw Gentleman and Shady Ladies, THE BEST HARD ROCK ALBUM in recent memory.
Seriously, FANTASTIC crowd! Saw these at two of the four UK dates last year, crowds were good die hard fans, but not as awesome as this. You can see how much Michael is enjoying their enthusiasm, great video man!
Harry Cane, if your the one who recorded this....Hats Off...absolutely brilliant recording of "for my money" the best touring rock and roll band currently playing. I saw them in Detroit last fall and was blown away. What you've put together here is the definitive live Volbeat full concert video... nothing in youtube land even comes close. Cheers.

Very excited for the concert here in South Dakota April 25, 2015. Some big deal with our radio station's anniversary. Won VIP seats and backstage party passes. I've been looking for a great sounding Volbeat show from 2014. Nice mix of old and new tunes. I'm extremely impressed by the sound quality bro. I converted to an MP3 and it's comparable to the live material the band released a few years back. Nice work!!!
Thanks. Had a good spot to capture the show from and the acoustics were pretty good in the venue. As I explained in another comment, this audio source is not from the video camera, but from a high-end digital audio recorder that was later synced to the video. I was very pleased with the finished product. Glad that you like it as well.

Seeing these FN AMAZING talents again in two weeks and one day from TODAY - at Northern Invasion in WI and HOPING I can get this pic three years in a row! I have watched several of their concerts. This was by far the best. Naked Dude called out to start the circle pit had me rolling😂. Bringing the kids up on stage had me smiling. Haven't seen such a fun, blow off steam since I saw the Ramones years ago. Great job Camera guy & Superb job Volbeat!

Thanks! I was lucky. I was in the front row of the side section where there was a half-wall that I set the camera on. All I had to do was pan it back and forth and zoom it in and out a bit during the show. Was almost like having a tripod. Steadiest stealth video I've ever shot!
Fucking brilliant!! I'm ashamed to say that I'd heard of them until I saw them a few nights ago in support of Alter Bridge.They rocked the house down! Have to give props to Alter Bridge for having the confidence to follow them on stage because this is no support band! As far as I was concerned it ended up being a double headline show and I don't think I was alone in that. my daughter was front row , was wanting to see more crowd shots because I thaught maybe volbeat did the recording because it was so friggin awesomely done, great dam job!!! I heard one of their songs recently on her ipod and was like wtf is this , that was all it took, her mom was hooked!! and have watched this concert about 5 times this week , am now a volbeat fan and cant wait til they come back this way so I can join her in the live show in person!!

Just caught this, fantastic audio and video. Any hints without giving away your secrets how you recorded this? I mean I'm a lowly cover band artist and just finding something to get good video without a complicated setup for ourselves is a battle. Thanks for this!
Used a common Panasonic hand-held (though sitting on a stable surface) digital HD video camera for the video and a SONY PCM-M10 digital audio recorder with cardioid external mics for the audio. Very little EQ in the post-production then sync the audio and video sources using Sony Vegas software.

Just caught this, fantastic audio and video. Any hints without giving away your secrets how you recorded this? I mean I'm a lowly cover band artist and just finding something to get good video without a complicated setup for ourselves is a battle. Thanks for this!
Used a common Panasonic hand-held (though sitting on a stable surface) digital HD video camera for the video and a SONY PCM-M10 digital audio recorder with cardioid external mics for the audio. Very little EQ in the post-production then sync the audio and video sources using Sony Vegas software.
