I don’t understand how this group and this music slipped under my radar. They’re really tight, the vocals are unique, the songs are extremely well written. I’m a little late to the party, but I’m really liking what I’m hearing, and it’s so refreshing in a world of sterile music.
Seen them live and it does not disapoint - btw Michael Poulsen is the singer, rhythm guitarist and main songwriter - some talent! They are a Danish band, although Rob Caggiano (ex Anthrax and more) was a member for around 10 years.
The voice and general mood remind me of Sully Erna and Godsmack. In a softer way. Just like if you cut some metal and alternative off Godsmack and put some rockabilly instead. ))) Great band! Great songs! Full of power and energy. For Evigt - is a real gem 🤩
I'm crazy enough that I sing VOLBEAT from the top of my lungs in the car with windlows down through the city ... but smart enough to not put them on when I ride my motorbike cause I know I'd be dead in half an hour
