Congratulations. I absolutely love this car. Especially this facelift which looks like the Mercedes-McLaren in some angles. It is even better than the latest facelift. Something very interesting going on with Aussie Mercedes buyers. If I search in carsales for any Mercedes models, almost all the cars are either white or grey or black. I filtered SLK 350 and out of more than 40 cars that listed, only three are not white or black or grey. Same is the case with many other models. May be u can do some research and enlighten us.

Yes, the S class is expensive when things go wrong. I have a 2004 CL55 but not a daily driver. I keep wondering if I can afford repairs.
There's definitely some attraction to getting a cheap(er) daily driver that you can just get in and drive without worrying about what needs to be fixed. Takes a lot of stress out of the car ownership experience. But I'm going to miss the CL.

No future for gasoline or Petrol. A Bloomberg report states 31 countries now have reached the tipping point with EV vehicle registrations at 5% or more. Rover group report strong sales for their range of EVs. The future is electric.
