Man you have shown me a side of Thailand that I haven't seen as many time as I have been there. My wife is Thai, and we have our house in Rayong, and I love it there. Been watching your channel lately it rocks my friend. I can't wait to get out of California, and enjoy my time out in the country over there..Thank you
That ford is sick, honestly might be one of the only skyline old fords in the world. These people are amazing at just figuring out what works and what they can make work. Awsome
That is what hot rodding is all about. You do some fabricating you can mix and match stuff like a rat rod you take what you can get your hands on and turn it into something awesome. Thank you for taking us along for the ride. I love what they are doing there and a love of automobiles connects us all! Great video!
They are pretty amazing what they can do....if you have your engine on display, in a Hotrod, you'd want it an American one, and they knew that......Rodders used to have Jag rear suspension, so, yeah, were always bitzas. Your channel is addictive....fantastic work...Im getting wanderlust, again.
The dogs, the amazingly beautiful temple even if the area is dirt poor, the people who bow slightly when they cross your path out of politeness, every single car personalized in some way even if it's just eyelashes, and of course that flippin rod. This video is SO countryside Thai. Chad, your videos make me long to return there. Dee geng mak buddy!
Thank you Chad for showing the rest of the world the amazing TALENT of the car guys an the IMPROVISING of what they have to adapt keep the hot rods alive ...this is exactly what we would do in Trinidad as well...we will rice out any an everything....keep the video's coming in an rice on Chad!
Ive started to really enjoy this channel! Its nice to see a different take/ different environment on the car scene there. feel like 80% of the youtube car community is either based in southern california, japan, some content from the aussie's and brits' locales, which is all great. But youve found your own niche of the world alot of people havent and prob wouldnt see otherwise. THANKS MAN!!
Dude! This has to be my favorite video thus far! Hot Rods in Thailand, far out man! Loved your reaction I'm with you Dude! Keep on keeping on! Love it! 😛😜🤪😝👍my name is Fred and I'm watching every episode! And also love your honesty about everything!!! 😜 you Rock!!!
That car would be right at home here in the States as a Rat Rod. Pieced together from what ever works. It would be fun to bring some of those guys back to the states and show them what is here. Mind blowing, both ways.
I just finished watching every single video Chad. I’m going on week 3 of lockdown here in Louisiana. I really enjoy your VLOGs , thanks for making them.
People that get butthurt over other people's projects are friggin silly. That Ford is awesome.' So is the rest of his fleet. Love your stuff, CB! Keep it up!
Love that you are so honest about your knowledge. Get the feeling that alot of youtubers ask around or do research before filming so it appears that they know more then they do. Your videos feels more genuine and real. Best of all is your true personality, and not this fake o er hyped person that makes you wanna throw up 555+ Keep it up!!
Loved this video. That dude was cool as hell. Amazing cars he has done. Nice collection and loved his house/shop. Your photos turned out amazing on IG. THUMBS UP!
Hey Chad, you made me smile when you got into that hot rod and old mate started gunning it down the road.....I also like the obligatory climb over the door to get in rather than open it...Ha ha, great Work mate, keep it up .! Greetings from Perth, Western Australia
you are right about car guys, they bond so easily man, even in my trips to TH and Lanka met cool people and saw tons of jdm cars just because i love cars and share their passion
My GOD that BMW bike at around 4:17 looked so aesthetically pleasing to my eye that I just had to pause and admire it. Truth be told I love Thailand because of the women number 1, and Buddhism as a prevalent way of thought number 2. But this car scene and what they do with bikes and everything automotive is just so kick-ass. Love it!
Pretty cool rides, and like ya said car guys are car guys no matter where your at. Tks for the ride along, looked like people just stopped and looked when ya went by, even the dogs stopped lol. Pretty cool, take care Chad.
I'm willing to bet if you took any of those cars to a car show in the U.S. they would draw huge crowds and many if not all onlookers would be thoroughly impressed with the fabrication that went into them. Any person that has built a car from the ground up would be impressed with what they've built. The goal of most builders and shade tree mechanics is: #1 Use what ya got and what ya can get, #2 Make it badass, #3 refer back to #1 and #2 These gentlemen are definitely over achievers in the pursuit of that goal.
Soi dogs don't know what to make of farang in a hot rod, and I like what looks like an old metal case makita drill buddy was using at 1:18 Mr. Draft has got some fine rides, thanks for showing us CB!
is true what you say about car guys, anywhere you go in the world there is a bond, even if you cant speak the language , im also a car guy into hot rods and old american cars pre 65, i go to thailand many times and have met these guys in bangkok , thru my thai hot rod buddy , who takes me around all the cool car shops when im there, when i show my friends back in the uk the scene they cant believe it, and like you, i always travel alone. have you checked out rotfai night train market behind secon mall in bangkok, plenty of old cars there.
@@CBMedia404 You definitely need to go to that event. From custom cars and bikes on display to car and bike related fleamarkets including Hot Wheels (for the die-cast collectors), it's got everything! Check on their Instagram to find out what the event is about (you're gonna love it). Last year, there's two cars that were build specifically to give a away to a lucky draw winners. One is a custom 2nd gen Volkswagen Beetle named *Lil Beach* and the other a Mini Cooper drag car named *Mizuki* (it has a Suzuki Hayabusa engine).
That hot rod is a real gem.... I want skyline parts on my whips.... a friggin old school caddy on air bags?!?!?!?!?!?!!!... Who are these MadMen?!?!?I'm a fan!!! Great video!!
It's too bad they couldn't experience the V-8 flathead Bored out in one of those cars. Maybe a 351 C with a blower. Great video man. Love this old school stuff.
Chad, love the videos. Keep them coming. You had mentioned that your viewers were all guys, but my wife found you. She is a Thai national and watches a lot of Thai videos on UA-cam. She loves how blunt you are.
I think what you said it is very very Thai That is there whole car scene it is just so Thai And the caddy this a Toyota engine unbelievable Looks like you had a great day and he has such a great shop Bet you enjoyed that beer 🍺👍👍😍😍
I imagine a crate motor, coming from the USA, would be VERY expensive. I’d be interested in knowing more about their economy. Middle class, rich, poor...farmers, city dwellers... Anyway, they have money enough to play with the hot rods like we do here. Great video👍
Love all your videos just found you you do some dope ass videos about cars in Thailand I love Thailand been there before can't wait to go back to Thailand after this coronavirus is over this is truck driver Lonnie out in California
Real builders will use whatever is available to them in order to create their vision or the customer's vision. I can't imagine driving that car in Bangkok traffic though. Plenty of torque from that 1UZ in such a light car with some skinny tires makes it a very fun street car that could definitely get you in trouble with the type of traffic and roads you encounter in Bangkok. I can only imagine trying to rip around in my boosted Elise in that city... I'm not man enough to attempt it. That is definitely a cool build for sure though. Keep up the content. I'm a gear head through and through, but seeing all of this from a different perspective in south east Asia is an amazing experience that I hope to see in person with my wife in a few years when we have more money and time to travel.
Oh my goodness this guys shop has me absolutely swooning, haven't fallen so hard for a work space in decades. Vehicles are spectacular as well.
Those guys are really ingenious, using what's available and making a lot of stuff by hand. They do great work!
Thanks for showing these Thai Frankencars. Highest respect for the people who make a multitude of part from diverse manufacturers work together.
Thai's are such crafty people. Great content Chad. Enjoy all your videos
Anyone who fabricates will appreciate this video! Anyone who has resources needs to be thankful

Those Thai guys would love the car scene in SoCal..so awesome that they have a love and passion for American cars.
Love that shifter.
Gotta appreciate a gearhead no matter what part of the work they are in. Workin with what they got. This is awesome. Great channel man.

Badass. Hotrods knows no language barriers and that is cool
Excellent Hot Rod vibe. The street scene seems very laid back. Chad should rent a Hot Rod and do a tour.
