Bangkok's JDM Car Parts District
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 лют 2025
- I explore an entire neighborhood, seven streets of used JDM parts stores and find cool car parts, an old Japanese robot that serves you a beer and most importantly...an epic collection of 50+ BMX bikes from the 1980's and 90's!
I'm shooting, editing and posting a video daily, every single day, for the rest of 2019 and posting it on my UA-cam. If you really enjoyed this, I would be thankful if you would subscribe.

Im 55, have cancer, building my dream boosted ej1 Honda and i rescue dogs. Dogs are the core of my soul. When i see you beeing kind to a dog it makes me love you and CB Media that much more. Thank you for your kindness to them and for taking me with you all over Asia. I will never make it there in person. If i had one place to visit before my end that would be Osaka so i could experience the Loop first hand and meet the Konjo drivers furst hand
Hang in there brother, may you have a chance to come visit us in Asia in the near future!
Keep up the positivity, 🙏
Jim,get your arse onto Ivermectin,it should sort the cancer pronto 👌
Congrats brother you have cancer deal with it I am 56 told I had 6 months at 15 just give er
I like how in Asia shops and businesses cluster together so you can just travel to one place to find what you want as opposed to in the West where they're pretty spread out and involves driving across town. It was like this in Taiwan in the electronics and PC district and then the camera street with many camera shops.
Yeah it just makes so much more sense
In the 80's I worked for a company that molded the Haro number plates. I drove down to Haro's warehouse every Friday with thousands of number plates. Hang out with Bob and his crew for an hour, then drive back to L.A.
I got goosebumps when i saw all those BMX Bikes!! I immediately started searching for a Hutch Windstylers in his collection...lol
that light blue bike at 9:30 is a S.E racing P.K Ripper, you talking high dollar.
You located in America?.....
If you're serious, and are hunting for a Windstyler, I have two. one is complete and beautiful and the other one was kind of a donor /parts / future project.... I'd like to get them both sold in one sale.
The classic 20incher BMX/Freestyle bicycle market is insane right now...
I was looking at that dyno..brings back memories!!
My brother still has a good amount of old school bmx bikes if interested just message me
BMX collection was bad ass need to see more
It was! I was in awe
I wonder if their valued a lot more in america or so call antique collectible biles. That was cool to see.thanks man.
@@asianzeusecannon5880 in America those bikes would bring a crazy premium

@@fileupdates That area near by Bangkok city , call "Bang Na second hand car parts market" (Thai word "เชียงกงบางนา , Chiang Kong Bang Na") , located on the 12 kilometers of Bang Na - Trad road ., use Google Map to come.
I'll find this heaven next year. Thanks for sharing!
This place is amazing. Definitely beats all the half-cut shops in my local town 😂
It’s heaven for a guy that loves car parts!
@@CBMedia404 hell yeah! Definitely adding this place to into my list to visit.
Another one watched! all the way through. Those BMX's were sweeet

Cool vid, incredible place. I too grew up being a car guy, and the last time I saw a car and didn't know what it was, I bought it.
That was a gold mine of old/mid school bmx! I need all of those!
Seeing those made my day! So sick
Love that bmx collection!
Your vids are never getting old. I'll keep sharing them on FB.
Duuuude!!!!! Chad, that was so pure eye candy!!! I legit, got rather excited after I saw this video. Kinda wished I was there and then not at the same time. Haha, cuz I could've spent a lot of time and money there building an entire car from all the parts all over the entire complex. What a kind blower. JDM parts for days bro.
This is my second time watching this video but this time I kept hitting the thumbs up hoping I can add likes to it lol
You seem to be a cool as* dude Chad. If I had the funds to go for a few weeks I would. Thanks for sharing bud
I’m watching every one of you videos , liking , commenting and I subbed I love your content
Hi Chad, I just subscribed as I like weird things in Thailand also! I live here and have I BnB in Ayutthaya. A great Vlog place! Keep up the good work........
Awesome! Thanks for watching :)
@@CBMedia404 haha i guess there is a few of us.
Where is this place in the video?
Street name?
District?
@@farhaanchummun8342
See Google Maps "Mons BnB" (Ayutthaya).
Those Haro bikes! Omg! I need to go through my old photos......
Right?! Dude had an epic collection
@@CBMedia404 I hope that is where the bikes I didn't keep ended up. I still have my Robbinson Rebel though. That one will be burried with me along with the GT Mags I saved up for.
@@CBMedia404 the only reason I don't still have my Haro Blamo (that I built one piece at a time over 17 months. I basically threw the Primo catalog at it!) is not still with me, is because it was stolen. 😪
chad you have become the face and voice of tourism and events in Thailand i think when your able to travel around the world again you will miss Thailand so much in no time you will go back way sooner than later. Thailand and the rest of the world have shown their love of you and your channel.just look at the amount of subs i think and i could be wrong but i think you had gained over 250k subs since i have become a sub to your channel and that 250k gain was done in around a year. huge never stop as you make the world feel good!!
Google AI to help out with future correspondence and other stuff can not be true for things. We'll be back in touch now received your response
I'm going to be late for work because once the video hit the BMX bikes, there was no pausing to go off to work. Love to see something old-school built.
I miss you chadddd. Love watching the daily videos.
RunMunkyRun thanks for watching them homie! Glad everyone is liking them so far.
Hi Chad, Just subscribed to your channel. Nice to meet you, I am a carlover too. Love to stroll in these kind of streets. One of them is also here, in the Bang Plee Area near to Market Village Suvarnabhumi. One recommendation you should visit, the Rot Fai market behind the Seacon Square Mall at the Srinakarin Road, loved by the locals for its abundance of foodstalls, amaziing shops and most interesiting the vintage collection of classic cars, motorcycles and old Garages buildings. Keep up the good work! Have fun, Donald
Just come across this video of yours, cool! I've walked around there once before, amazing! 3:30 is a Daihatsu Mira chopped into a ute lol
Your videos are good, but your attitude is great! love the positive vibes and your respect for the locals. just subbed
Thank victor. Welcome.
Love this channel, jdm ...awesome
If I used that beer machine, it would probably take me a week to get drunk😂😂
Its like a wet dream. Thanks for sharing. 👍
You are very fortunate to be doing that kind of video.. amazing job bro ..! And that eoic bmx find 😎👍🏾
Awesome, what a gold mine. Thanx Chad
One year later and UA-cam bumped up this video to near the top of my list...
The old bikes are sick that gt freestyle man.
epic vlog, glad to see youtube got their algo fixed, Chad recommend reposting/ this vlog. Just reviewed your channel again to see if any new ones and found some that was not displayed before, cant believe this vlog only got 3k likes. i think alot of people missed out on this one.
I just returned from Thailand and your rite seeing cars that I didn't know existed was very exciting. Every now and then I would see a car that just didn't fit in there.
3:23 it's daihatsu mira with random logo
12:07 it's daihatsu opti. I know the owner because i often by spare parts from his shop.
This place is the biggest second hand jdm spare parts town in Thailand .
It had a Mitsubishi Evo 2 wing on it! Something they done back in the early 2000's where they would fit other parts from other cars
@@DriveShifty crazy waste of time
how do i find this place? What is it called?
@@hamsap17 in thai call seing kong bangna
What is it in Thai, my wife will understand that.. :)
I collect OG bike frames also one more reason to I like your channel , love your content bro!😢
Chad i would definitely invest in those old school bmx bikes.I remember them when I was a about 7 yrs old.those are like the first awesome street bikes ever made n redline, haro, etc. u kidding me.
For a gearhead like me this is heaven 🤩
Honestly this is one of the videos I repeatedly watched on your channel for the past few days. Thank you for coming to this place along with the visit to ECU Shop's HQ. Wonder if you can make a video at Monza Carbon Shop or Akana Carbon?
Talk about your big boy toy stores, that was amazing.
Omg !!! We only have Halfords 😂👍
Great vid !!!
I never knew that about the civic coupe converted to a hatch. I know about the four door converted to a 4 dr hatch but not the coupe. That’s awesome!
That's a amazing amount of car parts.
This is the video that got me hooked on your channel. You should build a budget car with parts only from this soi.
I’ve gotta call in here next visit to BKk, thanks buddy
You’re welcome Chris
duuude turbo alley is crazy man sooo many used turbos......you can have fun with that
Bang Na Industrial..i miss them
That’s the cleanest chop shop neighborhood I’ve ever seen!
Dude, where is this place in Thailand, i want to go there?. Thank you - from Singapore.
at bangna
We call name"cheng kong bang na"
@@magnath01pro78 thank for let us know the location im also want to go im from malaysia
This looks like Rangsit auto market to me. The white pickup at 3.19 is a Daihatsu Mira, it looks like it’s not one of the Thai versions that were imported as pickups to avoid duty in the 90s by Carryboy who added fibreglass bodies to turn them into cars. It’s a JDM 660cc turbo Mira TRX-X that has been chopped . It was only at the end when I saw that rack of half-cuts that I recognised the place.. I was there 15 years ago!
That's place is Chain gong Banham. second part of cars
do they export?
Karaamba! My kind of shopping video!!
10:19 I have a double cab toyota like like this with a 1jz gte single turbo
love the content keep it up🙌
You've come across a goldmine there, And they have real gold there 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
And 45 minutes later you have a nice warm beer! Isn't technology great! Also I want to live in that Honda parts shop. And the BMX collection was sick.
Lol The robot was awfully slow with pouring that beer 😂
What there was a sweet' homeless' bike there that nobody's probably heard of it was bright blue right towards the end when you cut away from the bicycles that thing came all the way from Austin Texas James Shepherd used to build those in the 90s before BMX got real big again... homeless bikes made into the bmx museum...thank you
Another fun watch, looks like an awesome place!
Shimon thank you for watching. Another one today!
This place call "Shieng Kong" if you guy live in thailand and looking for 90s car part this is first place you should go
I suggest you visit Shift Up shop if you big fan of european car espicially for BMW
Trying to find it on google maps…

You just getting 1 000 subs a day or even more. Wishing you a million subs by next March.
You're doing fine.
Is it a Evo or and Thunderbird!!???. Its a evobird!!!👿👿😈🕊🦅🦅 Great video!! DEEP EAST OAKLAND
We have this in our country but it's only bigger. It's literally a village that's dedicated to it, big & small.
Little interesting fact about BMX bikes after the company shut down the equipment was moved out to a cornfield and a Company in Troy Ohio bought it and the welding machines were converted over to start welding exhaust pipe for the Chevy Cobalt the Jeep Liberty and blue bird school buses
sketchy! Dudes are racing in flip-flops 🤯
Awesome video, I would be curious, if you could get some really good deals on engines and wheels. Do they have pretty much set price's they all adhere too or could you haggle a bit on negotiating?
Man drop me in those streets i enjoyed every second of this video thanks for sharing it, and keep them coming i just subed to ur channel.
Thanks for being here! Welcome!
Those streets are so clean as well, no drop of oil or grease.
Love the Mira with the weird tailgate, was that on demand fan boost? get an extra 4 pounds of thrust? Weird.
Wow they keep there spots clean........
HI Chad, As an old '70s-'80s car guy, Love your videos. I spend about 3-4 winter months in Thailand playing golf. After watching many of your videos I often would like to see and experience them 1st hand. So a couple of questions; 1) How does one find out about the schedule and location for all the car races/drags/shows? Can you provide an approx location for the JDM district? Thank you!
ps - Went to the Poonsup Market.. nice!!
Wow, and great vid Chad 👍
Thailand does not allow to import the used car to protect local car manufacturer.
So the trader take it from Japan dis-assembly and sell as spare parts.
Apichai Jiam I understand. Good to know. Thank you.
We also had these rules in Australia but now we don't make cars anymore so they are relaxing the rules.
Yeah since 2014 all imports are illegal, even stripped down cars n bikes which used to get reassembled..... but some are still coming in, usually in 2 halves .... $$$kerching$$$
I really like how you always include dogs in your videos!
You are right....!
It is a NSX engine, but that one is special. It's a NSX-R engine.
Ooooh. Heaven to a builder. Are there any motorcycle salvages just as big. Please say yes.
Alright I need some del sol seats, s2000 steering wheel, those little clips for the grill and pretty much the whole car. Need like 200. Brakes, exhaust, headers, tail lights. I know I’m missing a few things. Lol I’m working on my 99 civic ex coupe vtec sohc. Y’all have a blessed day.
Haven’t seen a dyno frame sense I was a kid move video
