[Full Length Ride] R142 5 train: Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn College - Eastchester Dyre Av (BX Express)

Yet another one from meh. Kinda didn't expect the train to do its rush hour thing in the Bronx, but yeah it did it. After taking this video I made the dreadful mistake of taking the Bx12, I got stuck in traffic 😭😔.

I wish the the 5 trains could use the R142as aswell from the Jerome Ave 4 line. You know that the 5 line has CBTCS between East 180 street and Eastchester Dyer Avenue Bronx. However R62AS can not run on the 5 line between East 180 street and Eastchester Dyer Avenue anymore because of CBTCS. Only the R142/as . No more R62AS on the 5 line anymore.

The 5 line is being like the L /E/F/R/7 line s. The next line is gonna definitely getting CBTCS is the A C lines.

The Pelham 6 line has to deal with the R62as until the Brand New R262/as comes to replace all the R62AS R62S on the 1 3 6 S lines for CBTCS in the future.

Yea because that train that was leaving e180 street as we was pulling in,was a 5 that was local and I checked the schedule for the 5 and it said express service from 3rd ave 149 street to E 180 street leave at 3:30 and it was 3:30 when you got on the train at Flatbush
