The boxy boat hull and the vtol engines remind me of a Firefly
Love the fact that you had a little more info then was on the stream! Definitely getting this when it comes out. I grabbed the Python MkII and the Type 8 in early access and think they are great additions. This one looks to follow that same trend. Personally, I'd like it to have a little better hardpoint setup then the DBX, match or slightly better it in internal compartments, and hit that spot between the DBX and Anaconda for jump range, getting closer to the Anaconda. I would have loved something that beat the Anaconda, but rivaling it works as well.
The new ship looks fantastic. Now they're going to have to start dropping a hint or two about the last ship.
Great job getting this out to us just as the stream ended!
As a long-time fan of exploration in the Phantom, and the Mamba's unique styling, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing if the Mandalay can combine the best of both.
Beautiful ship, saw zorgon Peterson and thought we were getting another combat ship, but I’m just as happy with an amazing exploration ship as well
wrong position of cockpit for explorer should be below so we can see the ground better
