    Just do as instructed in the video. Use as many eggs as you need. You can use a baking dish or a cookie sheet. Spray with cooking spray. Use what your favorite oil is to fry them in. Bacon grease/ butter/oil which ever you would normally use to fry your eggs in. Preheat oven to 400. 6-7 minutes depending on your oven. Flip over if that is your preference. Enjoy!

    This is one technique i will hold with me forever!
    Its so enjoyable to have breakfast and hot eggs with family now rather than making them one by one.
    Thank you ever so much. I get to sit down and eat a hot breakfast with my family this way.
    Plus my mum handed me some old corelle dishes just like the one in the video & it works bloody wonders with the eggs!
    THANK YOU 🥰

    Awesome tututeral. I live alone, work a lot of hours. One day a week I try to prepare a variety of large dishes and freeze in individual containers for quick microwave and pack for lunch. I love sandwiches, fried eggs, sausage, and spice to taste and bag all sandwiches for the fridge. Frying up to thirty eggs takes a very long time, two at a time. I did your method on a deep cookie sheet and what an amazing turnaround of time. Twenty minutes and all my eggs are done and in the fridge waiting on the sausage to be done. Make the sandwiches, bag and fridge. Thank you very much.

    I've watched Jim Foreman fry eggs in a skillet a dozen times. He fries the eggs until the bottom is set, then adds an ice cube and covers the skillet. The steam from the melting ice cube cooks the top part of the egg and you don't have to flip them. I use a splash of coffee instead of an ice cube. Looks like you could do something similar with that dish you're using. Maybe more challenging if you use a cookie sheet.

    • @Hedy
      @Hedy  5 років тому

      That is interesting! I don't usually use that particular dish irl, but wanted to pick out a dish so that folks could see it better. The reason to flip is that some folks want their fried eggs done to their different likings. Some may want sunny side up, over easy, over medium and over hard. to flip or not gives control ending with the preferred outcome.I might fool around with your method LOL! Thank you for commenting! I love to see how others do as compared to how I do it. :D

      Well I never have, but you know what, I don't see why you couldn't. If you do use foil, I would make sure to get the foil as smoothed out as I could and then spray with cooking spray and then proceed as shown. I like mine over easy but runny if i flip them over like you did would there still be a runny yolk or would it be hard?

    • @Hedy
      @Hedy  5 років тому +1

      Sorry for just now responding. Yes you would just leave them long enough for the white to set. Just a minute or so. You would most likely need to experiment, then when they are done to your liking note the time.. Now depending on how runny you like your yolk to be may just try not flipping but just watch until your whites are set good. Thank you!

      It might be just eggs, but had I sailed through it too quickly, then I would have received comments completely opposite of yours stating that I left this and that out. You also must understand that though you say it is just eggs, perhaps you are a whiz at making eggs, there are folks out there that do not know how to cook even an egg. It is for them that I add small details. I sincerely appreciate your comment.
