Beyond Beautiful rig!! I’m an O/O tanker driver. My hubby is retiring and wanting to team (Oh lord help me lol) If we got a rig like that what type of loads could we haul? I’m sure the max would be 20k tons give or take?
We started our careers in tank division, back in our company driving days!! When we pulled step deck, we were 34K in weight with full fuel and water tanks, so there is a lot you can haul. Most, but not all, big bunks work in specialized hauling: government, pharmaceuticals, aviation, household goods or trade shows, car hauling, to name some. You just have to see what’s right for you. We love being on the road together. I was out of the truck for 6 weeks once and my husband was ready to quit being out himself. It takes patience & time, but we wouldn’t change it for the world.

Financing all depends on a person's commercial credit. There are a few more hoops to jump thru than if you're purchasing a car, but it can be done. Insurance was fair, however, carrying specialized loads, our insurance is a bit spendy to cover said loads. Parking isn't too bad, some places you have to get a bit creative mostly so you don't get blocked in. We do not dock for loads, we pull a step deck and are loaded and unloaded by forklift or crane. Backing is not any harder than backing any semi, at least not for me. Hope this answers your questions
That tractor as more in it than what my flat has to offer me, so I reckon I'm in the wrong country as here in Scotland that tractor would take up far to much room on our roads.
We Americans love BIG. My daily work truck (full-size pickup) has a 5.6 Litre gasoline (petrol) V-8 engine with 420 Horsepower. The wheelbase is 140 inches and the overall length is 230 inches. The width is 79.9 inches without the mirrors. Ford Motor Company sells 850,000 full-size pickups a year, and has done so for the past 50 years.

Happy New Year! Stay safe
Happy New Years! Stay safe and be blessed!
Nice rig for sure . How about financing something like this ? How is the insurance ? I’m guessing being longer hard to park and unload?
Financing all depends on a person's commercial credit. There are a few more hoops to jump thru than if you're purchasing a car, but it can be done.
Insurance was fair, however, carrying specialized loads, our insurance is a bit spendy to cover said loads. Parking isn't too bad, some places you have to get a bit creative mostly so you don't get blocked in. We do not dock for loads, we pull a step deck and are loaded and unloaded by forklift or crane. Backing is not any harder than backing any semi, at least not for me. Hope this answers your questions
That was one of the most interesting videos on trucking I have seen...thanks!!
Thank you. So glad you enjoyed. Check out Simple live'n other videos. She has a lot of great ideas she has shared over the years.
Beautiful
Beautiful truck.
Thank you
The wheelbase on that tractor is massive. Makes even left hand turns a challenge. What is the Pete running, a Cummins ISX?
White Darkness Cummins X15 performance is the engine in this truck. The turns are a bit wider, but not as bad as you would imagine.
That rig makes corners a real challenge.
poetmaggie1 not as bad as you think. Just takes a bit of practice and it’s like any other...
Is this your home or your home away from home. An RV how nice.
This is their home. They are full time over the road truck drivers amd live in the truck full time.
That tractor as more in it than what my flat has to offer me, so I reckon I'm in the wrong country as here in Scotland that tractor would take up far to much room on our roads.
That's our America for you. Everything here is huge!
It will pay for itself or time too.
@@rollingtones1 @Hello David how are you doing
Now THAT'S how you travel across the country.
Thanks. It sure makes life a lot easier when we can work in comfort!
AWESOME!!!
Well apportioned unit 👍👍🇨🇦🕵🖖
