that rock garden was an uphill climb to boot - I was exhausted working it with 12inch wheels! thats why theres an edit afterwards, I took a break (could've used a nap!)
thanks. ill have to do this again once I upgrade the suspension. I kept having to slow down due the the shocks and forks bottoming out. i might run the Trail125 here as well for comparison purposes.
That looks like an awesome ride, especially catching a bit of air. At the end there, I'm sure you must have been exhausted getting through all of that, but looks worth it.
I was smoked. That transition edit after the rock garden was because I pulled over to wheeze for about 10 mins to catch my breath. Plus I was out of water which didn’t help anything.
It never ceases to amaze me how vast your country is, and how you are allowed these sort of tracks, I feel like our "byways" in England are soo short and few and far between until you hit main roads again or private property and dead ends, I loved that spot where you stop and look out to the mountain range forests, are you allowed to go up the track backwards!?
Wow! I'm just a newbie rider, not even offroad. But I can tell you are one good rider! The lines you took through that rocky section were just crazy, but you we undaunted! Wow again. :-)
David Reese it hurt feeling it bottom out!!! Lol. I considered upgrading to the ohlins fork and shocks but I’m also buying a 2nd bike and and upgrading the suspension will be 1/5th the cost of the 2nd bike. So I might just ride the monkey slower and save the $.

Freak'n awesome! Does that bike beat the shit out of you compared to like a regular dirt bike with longer suspension or is it manageable for weekly scoots?
it does in stock form, you can hear the clank of the suspension bottoming out when I got too aggressive on some of the jumps. a true dirt bike will out run it, but as a little mini dual sport its a load of fun. im going to beef up the suspension in the spring.
And throughout it all you burned more calories than fuel... Well done! Conquering those boulders like a boss too! 👏

Wow, that was so cool !
Thanks for taking me along.
That was some serious riding! Well done!

I see that someone has had a lot of fun... thanks for the adrenaline😄🏕🏍💪
it's official. The Honda Monkey 125 is the best ADV bike! That was awesome!
Hands down the best trail bike on the planet.

thanks. ya, I worked my butt off getting through there clean.
This looks awesome, I have to try this this year. Looks like a definitely road trip with my camper. Thank you for sharing.
I'm impressed with the Monkey, and the man.
Nice, thx for the ride !
Hoping for more video
That looked so fun!
Oh man that poor suspension 😆 I'd love to have one regardless, just might upgrade that bit before I get as aggressive as you.
Loving my 21. The only thing make it more perfect would of been a duel range transmission. I would of gladly paid xtra.
Some pretty rough sections in there. Made it through it. Little beast!
The weak suspension really holds the little beasty back. Someday I might upgrade it.
you're the man
Yep, Ohlins front and rear were my first mods. Nice trail, thanks for the ride along. Did the pipe ever hit?
Ya the Ohlins are next on my list. I haven’t checked but I don’t believe I hit the pipe at all, hit the kickstand mount a few times though.
Uncle Voodoo cool. I love those trails.
I’m impressed . Now i wish that you do the same track but with the honda CT125 and compare it with the Monkey.
It Hurt watching you bottom out! Ouch! I'm getting rear shocks for mine? I have a Couple picked out! Undecided?

@@DavidReese2ndA I don't have any experience with those, but the top of the shock body is too wide if you're using a rack.
How did you not break your header?
Great vid, subbed. What make are the monkey's knobbly's?
they are Maxxis m6024
