That is interesting. That may solve a problem that I have. I just did a video on how to update as I got a new transducer and it shows all kinds of things that my old one did not show. Been working with settings and I have it better but not great. Going to mess with that tomorrow. I may end up doing a video on it, BUT will give you credit it I do! 😀 Great find my friend!
I went out and spent over 2000 thousand dollars on a gammon I'm having nothing but trouble with it I'm very disappointed with it I thought it would really help me catch fish right now I feel like I have wasted over 2ooo dollars

How do you feel about the update now? I have a 1022 and personally I do not care for it. I will say that I have not been out and used it but one day fishing. I played with the settings all day and never got it anywhere close to like I could dial in before. I lost a ton of detail and have a huge blind spot now
I’m pretty close to making a new video on it. I have lots of info straight from Garmin To share. I’ve got my pic as dialed in as possible with the new update. I too have a blind spot. But I’m working thru it. Look Forward in the next week or so
Whats your opinion on the udpate now after a few months? I just got a scope setup thats running 18.00 right now. im weary to update with how many people on FB groups say they hate the new updates, but ive seen most refering to 19.10.
Think I may have had a senior moment. I have Lowrance touch units and probably tapped the Begin message instead of using the knob. As I recall the bar graph never showed like in videos I just saw. 🤡

I see on your vids and others folks screens right under Noise Reject there's a Ghost Reject option. I don't have that as an option to select, very strange. Almost like it's disabled / hidden so I can't even see that option. Ever heard or seen this before?
Depends on how old your software is bud. That wasn’t an original tab. If you have a great pic and are happy with it there really isn’t a need to update in my opinion
@@The_Garmin_Guru I'm running the latest software 26.10, but even before that I never had the Ghost Reject option so it's not tied to this latest version. Very odd, I can't find anyone having the same issue on their 1222. Strange.

the echomaps dont get the color limit and there seems to be more people with echomaps than gpsmaps. obviously there is a reason why the echomap didnt get it id just like to know why

Hey, Guru off subject but just setup Compass on a new gpsmap 1222 it shows the boat in perspective view but not forward view. Did I miss something?
