Erol has such a kind eye and gentle, sensitive way. I feel like he's very sensible, with a strong mind. I'm excited to watch him develop. You go, Ashley! You're so lovely with him.
Erol seems such a champ already. Such a lovely, lovely temperament and character. I think you picked just perfectly and I'm excited to see the two of you grow together.
Erol is so handsome! You've done a great job working with him. I can see the difference between when he first got to the yard versus the end of the vlog. He's filled out wonderfully, and looks so healthy; which, of course, is the way it should be! Keep working on him, and of course we want to see more of Erol!
Okay... Around 5:49 I literally started sobbing, that was sweetness overload! I want my own horse so badly it HURTS! He is going to be something special, you can tell! And I know you and your team will bring him along beautifully, I can't wait to see more of him!
Hi Ashley, Errol is a lovely horse settled in very nicely for you. I would like to see his journey on here it’s good to see a youngster coming on and I’m pleased you are back 💯 after your fall. Your Dads lovely he’s funny so is your fiancé 😂😂you have a lovely property very nice.tfs😎
Lots more of Erol please what a little legend! Love his dreaming! This is giving me the kick to get a wriggle on with my 2.5yr old who I really need to start working with and back! Hope Scott’s trainers survived and your dad isn’t dizzy 😂
Aww he’s beautiful Ashley, that was lovely to see Erol stay laying down when you were next to him, that’s a lot of trust especially for a new horse, and that’s the first time l’ve seen a horse dreaming, thought it was only dogs that dreamed lol, looking forward to seeing your journey with Erol, tfs x Julie
@@ashleyharrisoneventing I had the same experience when I trained a young horse a trick I learnt was they all tend to go alot faster and wilder on one side once I learnt the side with mine I would put him on the calm side first and work him then go to the wilder faster side after he had worked a little made a huge difference for me as then he was world's calmer that's one piece of advice I found made a huge difference in training young or inexperienced horses
What a lovely young horse. He’s super chilled and will take it all in his stride. I’d back him if I was you, as I reckon he will be a complete star. This used to be my job. Bringing on two year olds and backing at three to go event. It was so wonderful getting to know each personality and gaining there trust to empower a horse that thinks and acts with you. It was a privilege. Love watching you work with all your animals and got to say your riding is super.
Errol is gorgeous. Great content from the whole family including Bella. Fab thread from beginning to end. Yes please would be fantastic to see his progression. Great to know you are back in the saddle, My three fractures to my pelvis are healing and am starting physio next week. Thankyou so much as you always make me smile xx
He's a babe!! It's only when they know absolutely nothing do u realise actually how much a normal older horse knows 😂😂😂. I have a 3 yo too but she's broken now so I'm looking at the vlog back fondly. I adore young horses cause the bond u have is amazing. I sent mine off and I've done 20 breakers but I still don't consider it enough to do my own 🤣🤣🤣
So funny to see te difference of a 3 yo who has only been in a herd. And my 3yo which i bred myself and has been at home for almost his whole life and seeing what you need to learn him now, is already daily basics for mine since he was a half year old, and mine is now slowly backed and in training. But your doing very well, he looks like a very easy caracter
Great vlog Ash, and wow how Erol has changed since we last saw him! He is lovely now, but I think he is going to be a very stunning boy by the time he has matured and going well under saddle. It's a shame you are having to send him away to be broke because you can see the bond you have together already. He completely trusts you and looks to you for reassurance when he is unsure about anything. Really looking forward and excited to follow your journey together hun. Take care 😘❤
@@ashleyharrisoneventing Ashley, I love the fact you take your time and get back to me! It means a lot, most ppl on youtube don't take the time. I feel like im talking to an old friend lol if you ever want a fresh view on anything, please don't hesitate to message me. I know you have a great team around you, but sometimes you just need a fresh take. I've been around horses my whole life and went to college and double majored and one was equine management. Just an option. 😊
Dear Ashley, congrats on these two good rounds! And thank you so much for fixing the sound in your videos! (I was the one asking about the difference in the volume between different parts) It's much appreciated and so much more pleasant to watch/listen! I wish you all the best for all future rides :)
How exiting good to see Erol... can you not use all the alternative methods for his initial training.. i Love watching all the videos on how to train horses these days i think that first connection is so important between you both.. Elisa Wallace backs her Mustangs i love watching how she does it.. Whatever you do will be perfect, but just thinking such an opportunity for you BOTH to learn how to deeply speak the invisible Herd animal Flight body language.. Lovely young horse! Really like his character! I'm currently in the process of backing our 3 year old home bred mare.. I'm getting on her for the first time tomorrow!
