I think those super slow balls are harder to make good contact on. They get a ton more pop ups and ground outs because MLB hitters train to hit line drives off 100mph pitching. So its hard for them to adjust and make good contact on 60.

Strike zone is 3D. The zone on TV shows where the ball was when it crossed the front of the plate. The ball can drop into the zone and it should still be a strike.
