In this SUPboarder video we're going to cover two things. Firstly we're going to talk about the basic differences of SUP paddles for you as a first-time paddler or an improving SUPer. By understanding what paddles are available in what constructions, and the pros and cons to each of those paddles will help you make a better decision when it comes to buying the correct paddle for you.
We will then also be going over the complete Aztron 2020 paddle range, highlighting some of the well priced paddles they have to offer.

I have the Aztron Power Carbon 70 3-piece and it's a good, mid-range paddle but I still prefer the blade size/shape on my 7.25/90 sq inch Fanatic paddle. The Aztrons are very decent value though.

Great lesson but please send feedback to the retailers, they need to put this info into their adverts. Even Aztron buried it way down. 3 shops lost a sale today because they didn't post blade size in their ads. It's nice they told me it was blue, but fill out the specs or link me to them.

Hi, Just saw this video review because I'm divided between two paddles, the Phase and the Power, 2 pieces. I'm 190cm and 92Kg and I have a race/touring 14" board, usually paddle at the weekend an average of 10km at sea and rivers, so mostly touring. Can you advice me between the two paddles. Thank you in advance

It costs more but for you the better lighter Power would be a nicer paddle for your paddling. If you paddling for a few hours at a time the lighter paddle the better. Thanks Reuben

Would you say the speed paddle would be best for someone who has been paddling for a year or the carbon30 paddle? Not sure what to get or is there another brand that would be best?

Hi Harriet the Aztron paddlers are all good value. Both paddles will work for you, but you will feel that the Carbon 30 is a nicer paddle to use because of it better blade shape. Like with most things.. You get what you pay for. But For value Aztron is hard to bet. Another brand which works well would be The Aqua Marina. Thanks Reuben
