Jim's Cell Phone Prank on Andy - The Office
• Jim's Cell Phone Prank...
"You know what, maybe it's in the ceiling."
"You know what, maybe _you're_ in the ceiling."
Jim _did_ try to tell him
"Okay."
My theory was that he was so used to Dwight following along with his pranks whenever he would mention something and that it would work with Andy too....guess he was wrong 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was the 1000th like.. very very satisfying.
@@bgraber2005 you don't know that
I like how Jim hung up, as if to say "Ok, I think that's enough of that."
That feeling when you start to doubt the prank.
As if putting his calculator in jello wasn't enough.
@@sw1rly801 That was Dwight, not Andy.
@@jeeroylenkins3081 he did it to Andy too

I think it’s safe to say Dwight is the more relaxed of Jim’s victims 😂
I kind of like to think that Jim and Dwight are frenemies so they don’t get too mad at each other’s pranks.
Who’da thunk it.? 😂
@@j.graves4405 well... dwight was pissed enough to go to HR. That being said if I got tricked into seeing Meredith on the can I'd be pretty displeased too 🤢
Andy got anger issues. That's all.
I think later on in the series he got used to it and starting pranking Jim back. Not initially am I so convinced that Dwight was okay with the pranks because like said before.. he did go to HR 😂funny episode btw.
I love how Stanley notices then just doesn’t care
domimp28 I thought Stanley doesn’t notice shit
That’s the best
When has he ever just cared about the shenanigans that go on in the show? Lol
meatball prank.
@@erikkunz1988 you just got *MEATBALLED*
Fun fact: Andy was supposed to get fired after punching the wall, but the cast and crew got along so well with Ed Helms that they rewrote the ending so that he'd be sent to anger management for a while.
Im glad they kept him on...sometimes he did get on my nerves, but deep down he really was a good person, and he had some great moments. NGL, when he got promoted to Manager i was genuinely happy for him.
I honestly didn’t know that. I always assumed that viewers hated his character so much that the writers wrote the whole Anger Management thing as a way to figure out how to make Andy more likable
Hey where did u find this information cuz I googled it and couldn’t find any mention of this

uh yeah...that's how it was written. You know....in the script.

It’s not just what is written in the script, it’s their chemistry that makes it so great.

Actually does look like he cares. He looked like he saw his violent tendencies and realised something about him. I never watched the series but does mike end up haveing to fire him?
@@adznz11 Nah Andy actually makes it to the end of the series. He goes to anger management after this and while still annoying as piss doesn't punch any more walls.
@@engelberthumperdinck6993 he gets 1 more swing in the wall actually when Nellie is the manager
@@adznz11 Andy was originally only going to be a temporary character, so he could get away with pulling crazy stunts like this. After his character became popular though and it was decided to keep him on the writers had to basically rewrite his personality and start again (the way Andy behaved previously was completely unsustainable for the long haul) so he went off to anger management for a while and was a lot more mellow after he came back
The one time Stanley actually notices something happen when no one else does 😂
So true
And moment later he’s like “whatever”

andy: i don’t trust you, phyllis
the best line ever 😂
“where is my *fffREEEAKING* phone”
The real Sansybo no one asked
“I don’t trust you Phyllis!” 🤣🤣
In this scenario, Jim’s the teasing older brother, Pam’s the middle sister, Michael’s the dad who walks in the exact moment that Andy, the youngest child with the massive temper completely lose it which is when Jim and Pam completely detach themselves. And Stanley’s the dog that witnesses it all
Exactly
michael’s camera look at the end is one of the funniest of the series
“I don’t trust you Phyllis!!”
Gets me everytime.
Ed Helms nailed this role.
Last time I was this early, Pam was still engaged to Roy
one of the funniest parts is when Jim decides to call Andy’s phone right in the moment when Andy and Michael are arguing, he didn’t even care about it, he chose the perfect moment
phyllis quickly shutting her drawer had me laughing for ages 😂😂 i couldn’t stop replaying the scene 😂
Pam and Jim's tuning is brilliantly executed
1:38 I quote that line whenever I can’t find my phone. Somehow no one has ever got the reference
1:31 that corporal language is brutal,ed helms is freakin cool
Funny you mentioned that because at that point, Andy's characterization is that he is a scummy corporate ladder climber so him tentatively following corporate language (even if it's obvious) falls in line for him.
Is it weird that I kinda like Andy’s ringtone? 😂
He's a talented musician. Only problem is, he's an ANNOYING talented musician. :)
Yeah, it is
Yeah it's called rocking robin
I think it's catchy
It kinda slaps ngl
0:53 Stanley you legend lmao😂
For a long time, this was my favorite episode; my brother and I would re-watch it every time we were home. Now though, I don't have a favorite episode, and I watch these UA-cam clips over and over again.
One of my favorite pranks. Ed Helms is such a good actor😂😂

How is Michael the only one acting normal in all this 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
2:20 why stanley is a legend
This was supposed to be the end of Andy. When they decided to bring him back they had to figure out how to make him not be hated by the audience.
Dude was annoying even by office character standards. There wasnt anything likable about him
Thank God Andy was made tolerable afterwards.
2:30 that moment with Michael…gets me every time
“Large tuna” poor Andy 😂
To give Jim credit, he did tell him it might be in the ceiling.
To this day, whenever I'm looking for my phone I say, "Where is my FREAKING phone" because of this.

1. Phyliss denying someone opening her drawer
Everybody gangsta until the bat in the ceiling answers the phone.
“Do not test my politeness.”
I love just how hard Pam is trying to not laugh at 1:22.
Is no one gonna talk about Andy singing zombies by cranberries 😂
The way Phyllis slams the drawer is just hilarious to me
That was an over reaction
Literally crying😭😭
Michael looking at Andy like--😕2:30

I am not ashamed of how much I come back to watch this gem
Definitely one of the funniest scenes ever of this show.

The Non-Reaction of the entire cast, is the perfect comic restraint, The Office pulled of masterfully.
1:49 Man, Phyllis has the reflexes of a ninja!

Just realized “The Return” has a double meaning. Well done, writers.
What other meaning is there?
1:23

Legend has it that Andy never found his phone
I wonder if Oscar or Bandit ever found his phone?
2:37 -> "Gonna hit the break room....." Very relevant choice of words considering Andy had just punched the meeting room wall. LOL
2:26 That is the face of a man who realized that he may have gone a little too far.
I love this prank! It’s one of my favorite episodes
Michale gave us the Jim face for once he seemed like the normal one for once 😂
Exactly!🤣🤣😂🙌🏿💯
I love how Stanley, who doesnt notice anything, noticed it while everyone else didnt 😂
And then proceeded to keep quiet while Andy was freaking out 🤣
I like how micheal doesn’t yell at him he just leaves him alone
I think Michael was on his way out the door to go to Staples and ask Dwight to come back.
“ I DONT TRUST YOU PHILLIS ” is so funny to me
"I don't *tRUST YOU* Phyllis!"
🤣🤣🤣 This show will never get old!!
