Not trying to dis your video, but I thought I’d point out some things that would save you some time. Sand your long pieces of wood before you cut them. Easier to sand, then just touch up your cut edges. Don’t resaw at all…there’s no need to! Raise your blade to go thru the wood-one cut instead of putting that piece thru the table saw four times. And it won’t leave a ridge like you mentioned 😂 You started to tell the brand of lacquer, but never did. When you put the lacquer on and felt nubs, it might or might not have been dust that got into it. It was likely wood fibers that raised when the wet lacquer hit the wood…commonly called “raising the grain”. Try sanding your full pieces of wood, then spritz them with a little water or DNA. Let them dry, then a quick sanding, and they should be smooth. When you lacquer the piece, you shouldn’t feel the nubs, unless it really is dust. If you still feel the nubs, you need to protect your lungs and do something about better dust collection. Good tip on the craft paper, tho! I save my paper bags from the woodworking store for that very purpose 😁 Oh, try using stop blocks for repeatable cuts instead of marking on your sacrificial fence.
