I grew up there hee 😆 Enormous and very small population, everybody knows everybody's business. She and friends went to school with him. I went to university in England. Back. I could swear somebody told me he was taking some Master Classes in film school while he'is there. I was catching up with several people. Everybody I know lives in different time zones, can't call to check. My housemates think I'm insane, on the phone at 3 am, midnight.. Ifs my understanding they never took the Brooklyn thing seriously. That I DO know. He will never leave Kazakhstan nor will he spend significant time away. He's nobility, has lots of communal responsibility, he takes it seriously and raised from birth to do so.

The instrument was popular with shepherds, although difficult to play, and was also used by storytellers, in this case perfect for Dimash who is a master of storytelling …. ❤️🔝🎤🌹🌹👏👏👏👏👏
At the end of the second verse, Dimash sings "I love you" in Mandarin ("Wo ai ni") to the Chinese audience, and again in the third verse, adding "Men (I) seni (you) suyemin(love)" in Kazakh, before whispering "Thank you very much" in Mandarin at the end. Dimash beautifully incorporates Middle Eastern (Armenian, Turkish, Arabic, Azerbaijani, Kazakh) runs in the song.
He's writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology in Composition having remained a fulltime student and filling global arenas at the same time. Just FYI, the instrument is actually a side-blown flute called a sybyzgy which is common in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. DImash often likes to incorporate musical influences from his home country whenever he can.

In the contestant's room you can see another artist who took part in both Singer 2018 and 2020, called Hua Chenyu. He's certainly worth listening to. Most people seem to start with his cover of a song called Nunchucks, and then move on from there. I'm sure you'll get other recommendations if you start reacting to him.

Just an FYI... Dimash turned down the scholarship to the Brooklyn Academy of Film and will not be attending those classes for film directing.

Whoever made this arrange of Lionel Richie's song Hello, Dimash and those folks who were involved into, really made their job,and Dimash singing ;just think that this song got some new dimension, and all about his techiques in singing already said like the others before; and what should I say?Just simply enjoying in his wocal's travelling from lower octave to the high pitch , or operetic style, and so much more, what even the voacal trainers cannot explain I don't even wanna try to say anything about that guy from Kazahstan, simply will enjoy in his simplicity and complexicy of his so good, in fact exellent trained voice.If it is all what I just have written wrong for somebody, then I will put in another words.!Fella Dimash is one of a kind , and so unique guy.
