U are so right, she is to this day the best live performer….but it’s because she’s not just singing the song, she goes all in and spills out her soul….and u were also right in the way how she can make u feel that you are the only other person in the room as she is singing it to you… this is a very rare recording and I’m so happy you guys loved it and hear how special she was ❤❤

And by the way to give it some context 'I am changing' and 'And I am telling you' are both originally performed masterfully by Jennifer Holliday in Dreamgirls musical. So I would argue, to trully get Whitney early performances you may have to start with Jeniffer Holliday at Tony Awards and it will all make sense;) It explains the 'theatrical' flavour to early WH recordings in my opinion- yes or yes? :)

overrated version. The London 1986 version with the F5 -G5 belt run is superior and some versions from 1987 and even March 15 1991 is superior
