Any pilot can throw a plane around in the air but it how graceful the aircraft returns to earth that shows a pilot's skill, we done to all who made the cut.
Beautiful! I prefer watching landings, because they show the real skill of pilots. Most can take off without mishap, but landings are another skill level altogether. Especially for the biplanes.
Who cares about the landings......LISTEN to those KOLM'S...MOKI'S...SAITO'S...I closed my eyes for the first 3/4 of the video on the second viewing and just listened to the glorious sounds. That Lavochkin at the start sounds amazing. But the Moki250 L7, 3rd model in sounds even better. GREAT Upload, and thanks for the model information on each. Nicely put together.
These are awesome.i had my first good flight today with a decent landing as well with my mini mustang.im new to flying RC planes but was previously experienced in crashing them.im so glad to be getting better at it,I have a 1100mm spitfire dual motor custom build but I’m waiting until I’m confident I won’t crash that one before I fly it
Awesome Video! Clip lengths keep your interest, Title for each plane very nice! And landings are the best part of RC Planes, that's what requires skill!!! Great Job! I thought the P38 landing rocked!
Great video and landings! Do the pilots use the technique of slightly pushing the elevator on contact so that will keep the tail up so that it won't drop and increase the wing's angle of atack, the lift and result in jumps? I'm struggling with a Seagull Zlin Z50 1,7m that almost always get in consecutive jumps o landings breaking props..and I don't quite know how to stop them. Only when it was nose heavy it jumped but stayed on the mains, thus the idea of pushing the elevator to make it nose heavy but I don't quite know when exactly to push it and how much... It's a beautifull plane and I'm afraid of it because of this. Any advice would be wellcome since I'm the only one in my small town to fly RC planes and no one around to ask.. Cheers from Romania!
no idea, for us are the normal nice landings ... You have to test it yourself, but if you fly a little faster there is no stall. The real ones are not too slow ;-)
I noticed that only 50% have the elevator pulled nose up after landing....Once you are below lift off speed, it's a good technique to keep the "stick" back. That way the tail doesn't bounce and the danger of flipping forward is reduced. Et least we do that in the Piper PA-18 and T-51 (full scale with human inside aircraft:-) )
This video is far more satisfying than the crash compilations out there.
many thanks 😉😊
Aren't these planes the coolest. P-38 got me....that was a greased landing. Thanks for sharing these skilled pilots passion.
thank you 👍🤗
Nice!!! No one trying to float it in or land by stalling it right on the runway...
FLY it in, guys! Great job.
Any pilot can throw a plane around in the air but it how graceful the aircraft returns to earth that shows a pilot's skill, we done to all who made the cut.
yes that's true ;-)
just interested

Thank you 👍👍
Best P38 landing I've ever seen. Nice job guys!!!!!
yes, it was a dreamlanding ;-)))

Many many thanks for the nice comment ;-)))
best regards, Markus
So beautiful to watch these birds land nicely -
My T-28 is due to arrive any day - hope I can learn to land her as well as these did.
These pilots are great, they have their airspeed under control on approach, and don’t have to dive for the runway. Really nice job!
many many thanks 😊😊
Sehr gut. These bigger planes really give credibility to our hobby.
Thanks alot !!!
I really appreciate a nice, no bounce landing. Awesome landings!
many thanks !!!
Vielen DANK !!!

Sehr nette Sammlung von Flugzeugslandungen. Sehr nett Oberfeldweble!
vielen vielen Dank ;-)
This is a perfect promotor for our beautiful Hobby, well done better than all those crashes.
Tumbs UP.
many thank´s ;-)

Don't you just hate it when the great ones show off !

Edelste Kunst! Chapeau!

Finally... people who know how to land.
About to watch this again as soon as I leave this comment. Thanks for this!
thank you ;-)
i love this.. its like therapy ha ha

Thanks for posting these videos. Great landing by all. Best way to end a session.
thank´s ;-)
That Pitts landing was pretty good considering the short gear and the extra tall grass
oh yes, and that was the landing of the maiden flight ;-)

many thanks, when the plane jump, it is usually nose heavy (i think) or the gear is too hard ...
:::)))
Friedrichshafen?! Bekannter vom Nachbarverein ist hingefahren ...

many thanks ;-)
Thank you. Beautiful planes and excellent piloting = fantastic video!
thank you ;-)
Something about the landing wheels when it acts like jelly it's just makes me feel more better
Excellent
thank you 😉
Nice landings 😉
thank you ;-)
There's always a handful of $h1tbirds who downvote these videos. Great compilation of great landings. I don't understand some basement dwellers...
many thanks 😊😊😊👍👍
jees, what kind of engines are in these things? Are they like actual 4 strokes or something?
we love 4-strokes :-) (the engine info/name is in the text from the model)
Two strokes, 4 strokes, radial, gas turbines, turbo prop and electric ducted fan.
Excellent aircraft, excellent pilots.
many many thanks ;-)
I'm a novice pilot and, to me, it looks like you're coming in steep and hot. Is it flaps that allow this or just outstanding skill?
no idea, for us are the normal nice landings ...
You have to test it yourself, but if you fly a little faster there is no stall. The real ones are not too slow ;-)
pure joy to watch!
thank you ;-)
Schönes Video. Bitte mehr davon! ;-)
awesome video...and great landings... :)
many thanks !!!

- Still enjoy looking at your landing compilations and am looking forward to the next one. How long is your landing strip?Great club and pilots.
many thanks !!! these are different places - we have 125m to 160m ...
Whats the name of that yellow plane? 3:35.
is a T-34 Mentor
thanks
It does not display the text (model Info) ?!
Good Video

Not tail heavy. 👍
For my money the P38 was best .
oh yes, it was perfect ;-)))
they can't land well .I think the result is the landing road,,Maybe a flat something ,,Like a table etc;
and I'm over here still trying to land my foam P-51D
practice creates masters ;-)
Just as interesting to watch as the shitty landings.
