I laugh at steveos take on video games while he's essentially insinuating that the entire audience watching his podcast is also wasting their time "criminally".
Name me one person that plays video games for only one hour per day. I think people play video games until they pass out. But anyway I don’t care what people do but what I do is I listen to podcasts on my AirPods while I’m working otherwise I wouldn’t actually watch at all because I don’t have enough time to spend one hour watching UA-cam. I have cable, Netflix, HBO, hundreds of DVD, movies, etc. I don’t have time for just UA-cam to watch.
Yeah I laughed, I have a lot of family who talk about how games are a waste of time but they watch movies all the time or whatever. Everyone's definition of time wasting is different for sure but for me I love being able to spend time with far away family and friends that way.
It is a pretty funny position to take. One could argue the exact same thing that he had just said about skateboarding and learning life lessons if they cared to.
My buddy and I were lucky enough to get a picture with Steve-O after his show in Clear Lake, IA. I explained to the security guys that I was a police officer as I had my CCW. They made me part of the emergency evacuation plan but they also asked Scott if I could meet Steve-O. So a big thank you to Scott and Steve for allowing that to happen! Very stand up guy that was more than happen to talk with and meet all the fans!
Steve O! I just have to say personally I appreciate the comment you made about the meet and greet thing a lot! I had the opportunity to meet you after your show and I have followed you my entire life ,and you were a huge inspiration to me since your sobriety as well as your business ethic. And I got the tickets to come to your show and meet you for my birthday and I got so excited to meet you that I forgot my sharpie to bring for you to sign my shirt and my vip lanyard but the point of me sayin this is because I was so bummed about it that I almost forgot that I literally just had the opportunity to watch you live and have an incredible show on top of shake your hand and take a picture with you. And I can’t speak for everyone but that opportunity means the world to me as a lifetime fan that you go out of your way and do that for fans! So thank you Steve O #STREETTEAM
11:40 was so dope. Steveos hot sauce in chronic tacos just makes so much damn sense. and how quick that little wee bastard was to say DONE gave me goosebumps. solid guy
From nobodies, drug addicts and throwaways..With people telling them they will NEVER make it...To having money and traveling the world and everyone knows who they are...The Jackass story is truly amazing. They had a vision and it came to fruition like poetry in motion in its own unique way..Jackass is a legacy and for us 30 something's that grew up on it from the very beginning it's an entertainment staple and part of our upbringing.
Well this right here goes to show you that people who struggle with addiction issues aren't nothings. Far from it. Please be more compassionate with your words and remember that it's a disease and it does not discriminate. Obviously I'm sure you can see that from Jackass crew, to musicians, models and actresses, to your own family members (hopefully not your own god willing) but please have compassion and let your statement ring true that you can go from nothing to something even if it's not on the big screen to entertain the world. God bless you and everyone else reading this and remember no person is nothing and everything in life is subject to change especially for the better🌹 much love ♥
Love how humble you are, Steve-O. You call yourself an attention wh*re but to do good deeds only off camera is the opposite, I agree with you that is the way to do it. You’re the best!
Yo Steve-O, I know you’ll probably never see this but I’m struggling with my sobriety. I’ve only been sober for 15 months, it’s been a roller coaster from the start to be honest and I’m going through rough patches right now. Fortunately I still have a solid family around me that always believed in me even when I had lost hope in myself. I don’t wanna let them down. I’m only 27 but i’ve always looked up to you as my idol and now you’ve become my biggest inspiration!! Keep doing you and I wish you all the best!!
Just listened to the podcast! We met steve o at the surf ballroom a couple hours before the show by pure luck. One of the best memory’s we’ve ever had. He was so damn cool and the nicest guy ever! He asked if we wanted a picture and we were like hell yeah! I didn’t even want to ask for one, just him chatting with us for that few minutes was just as awesome. We have the picture framed inbtween our autographed boards. We will def buy the new one. Thanks Steve O!
Wish Steve-O would get some high end streamer to talk about gaming on the podcast. I think Steve is just so out of the loop with games now he doesn’t realize how big it is. And that all gamers aren’t losers lol
I played drums in a band was on Tony Hawk Underground!!! The Browns - American Werewolf In Calgary we got a few grand for it, but we were one of the smaller bands on there, and there was like 100 bands on that soundtrack. Still think if we pushed harder we coulda rode that to a slot on the Warped Tour
Im 48yrs old from Jacksonville Florida and im a 100% sk8 boarder still to this day you didnt quit sk8 boarding cause you got old you got old cause you quit sk8 boarding! I mostly sk8 pools and Vert Ramps we have the oldest running sk8 park called Kona Skateboard park you can look it up but i sk8 every weekendend and its in the Tony Hawk video game looks just like it in the game except its not all the park in real life!
I work with wee-mans auntie lmaooo It was such a trip knowing shes related to him! I love wee-man with a passion i was so hyped when she showed me his baby photos, much love for Wee-man and Yvonne
honestly for me, one of the highlights of watching each episode of these podcasts is trying to guess how Steveo's gonna segue into his sponsorships hahaha I swear theyre always SO smooth
Honestly, completely valid about fans, and photos. I’d rather have a meaningful conversation with someone I admire instead of a uncomfortable photo. . Thanks Steveo and WeeMan for occupying my dark childhood. So proud of the guys you’ve become!
Video games have the same failure-failure-failure-success loop you mentioned in skateboarding. They’re for fun and challenging yourself. Also as your other hosts said there are ways to make money off of them, not just for competitors but for people who get into developing themselves. Technology is at the point where anyone who has the determination can make a video game by themselves and make a living if they’re successful.
In terms of “time wasting” as Steve O sees it, there literally is no difference between playing video games, watching movies, reading books, watching podcasts, etc. None of those activities will make you money or get you laid
@@Ottophil You don’t progress. The point is having a goal and working toward it. Pain doesn’t have to be the only negative feedback. Just like doing an ollie the value you get out of it is what you and the people around you put on it. Similarly to skateboarding you can make friends in the gaming community and compete if you want, and if you’re in the top 5% you can make a lot of money on it. It’s all recreation. Yeah skateboarding has the bonus of physical exercise, but saying games are a waste of time is like saying music is a waste of time.
@@psychoof78 Yup its literally all just forms of entertainment the fact people get so butt hurt about people playing video games but dont care if they watch movies or tv shows is just ridiculous.
I wish my best friend was here still to see you guys he passed away 15 yea ago on a motorcycle he loved you guys on JACKASS turned me in to watching the show !!! Keep it moving fellas
Normally I keep these videos for my headphones on dog walks the next day on podcast but I just had to watch this one immediately as wee man is just an absolute gem! Was not disappointed. Love that dude and hello from Scotland 🏴
u clearly did not watch/listen to this episode of the podcast as there is a bunch of hypocritical and contradictory things in it especially in regards to Video Games, Exercise & Diabetes
So I think people forget that life is part work and part entertainment. When you are working to get ahead you are enjoying your time being entertained. There is nothing wrong with spending time being entertained. Skateboarding, playing video games, watching a movie. None of these are meant to be “work” but in the right amount entertainment is absolutely crucial to living a healthy life.
I met wee man when he was in Texas for chronic tacos and he gave me a t-shirt, hot sauce, and took a pic with my roommate and I. I was so nervous I could hardly speak but he’s so rad for doing it. Love you Jason you’re sick. Wish I could’ve told you that at the time.
My mom went to high school with Jason. She told me he used to skate around the school and everyone loved him and he was super friendly and always treated my mom nice. That makes me happy because my mom used to get bullied for having a big butt yeah seriously.. nowadays people go through surgery just for that crazy what people get bullied for ends up being trendy. Can’t wait to watch this one!🤍
Steve-O, you're the best, man. I'm almost 40 and I grew up with Jackass but I gotta say I'm more of a fan of yours these days then I've ever been and it's because you are motivational and inspiring. With your work ethic and the type of human being that you are and that you are constantly working to become. I'm hooked on your podcast, and it's because I always end up feeling inspired in one way or another after I listen. Some people are trying to be motivational speakers or inspiring as the focus for their content but you naturally create that by the way you live your life and talk openly about it. I hope you and Lux have the most amazing animal sanctuary one day and I wish you the best. You deserve it.
The conversation about skateboarding was very accurate. Boxing is the same way, failure after failure until you finally win. It really takes discipline and determination, both sports, and instills great principles into the mind of the athlete.
Also, now that I'm deeper into the episode, I gotta say man, I don't care about a pic. If I see wee man or steve-o in public, I'd like to just let ya know that you've been an inspiration and I totally appreciate all the good times I've had with friends watching you guys. A simple thank you for your time and effort. Pictures and signatures are cool and all, but if I can get the chance to say thanks for the good times and let y'all know that I'm so totally stoked to even say hi, that it'd make my day☺️
Wee is a legend...he could have his own movie and everyone would watch. He is the funniest of them all, gracious humble and funny...and not because he's a little dude...he is awesome. Of all the crew he's the one I wanna hang with!

Thank you so much Steve-O for using the correct terminology for using Type 2 diabetes when addressing the percentage of kids born after 2000 who will develop Type 2. Most people only use the term Diabetes when speaking. There is a major difference between Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes and most think both are the same thing or do not know there is more then one type. A person with Type 1 usually develops it at a young age when their immune system attacks their pancreatic cells for no apparent reason rendering it unable to produce insulin which regulates the body's blood sugar levels. Thanks again!
@@MrMitchjos000 judging people as "losers" for playing games when people like him were called losers for riding skateboards is pure distilled hipocrisy and ignorance, your view of kindness is a joke.
I've listened to every podcast episode, and after all these great interviews we've grown to know and love the whole team! It's about time we get a Scott Randolph episode so we can really get to know him. Just having him pipe in here and there just isn't enough anymore! Bring on Randolph! 👊
I met Steve-O at the improv in west palm. I was waiting for a meet and greet and told him I love the podcast, I was trying to get off the stage as quick as I could to not take up time from other people, and this guy sat there and told me all about the upcoming poopies episode at the time. I was taken aback because I thought he’d be a get out of here quick kind of guy. But he was actually very kind. 🤘🏼
SteveO needs to think about what he says sometimes…… we are just wasting our time then listening to this podcast just like he says video gamers are😅 It’s all about enjoyment
I love that they actually got on the topic of the importance of nutrition! I am studying to become a nutritionist because I believe it is so important and should be in high demand my husband has lupus and his diet is very critical to his health and well-being having the knowledge of nutrition helps me take care of his health needs to live a good life ❤️ I can't wait to help more people once I get my bachelor's degree 😊
if it wasn't for videogames, I wouldn't have spent as much time on the internet, watching videos about science and nature, wouldn't have any culture about most of the subjects I now have under my belt, would definietely not have gained any interest in the field I'm now working on, having a majored and soon getting a doctorate in microscopy in biomolecular science, would only speak my native language and my periods of drugs and partying would have been much longer and would maybe not have ended as well. Video games is part of who I am and the culture I have, have a good portion of the friends I have and wouldn't trade for anything in this world, the reason I had so much time to cultivate my interest in so much different subjects, one of the reason I know jackass and follow you, and I may not be famous (which I am more than happy not to be tbh, seems horrible), but my dude I couldn't be any more grateful to have been put in front of a computer by my parents at such a young age. Yes you can have an awesome life while " " " " wasting your time " " " " on video games, yes you can get laid with chicks way out of your league while being a nerd because you actually have something interesting to say, and comparing where I am at with all of the fuckers who told me I was wasting my lfie on video games, I'd tell them to stop wasting theirs telling people how to live their lives and focusing on theirs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ am kinda surprised to hear such a judgemental and negative view on video games coming from steve, literally the luckiest guy on earth that got away with wasting his body, money and life away on drugs and irresponsible decisions tbh. if that worked for him, why wouldn't video games work for other people ? TLDR: video games or not, to each their own, stop being judgemental and keep an open mind about everything, you never know what suprising thing a field or activity can add to your life. Like most things tho, everything done in excess can be detrimental, socialising and getting laid as much as video games drugs or food. be responsible and everything can teach and get you good things in life.
You really forget how old Steve o is most of the time but then he'll go and say something about like video games or something and you realize damn this guy is old
Fun fact. I worked at the bank next door to the Chronic Tacos that Kaleb Walker owned. He would come in to make the deposits. He was only nice to my friend (whose super pretty) and he would ask her to go out for lunch or dinner and she always said no. This was like 6 or 7 years ago 😅
I disagree with Steve O when it comes to video games. People play/watch them because they take pleasure from that. Not everything has to be about getting paid/laid (But a lot of these pro gamers are doing both of those things). Video games are just like watching a movie or listening to music or watching a podcast with too many ads on it, they're a form of entertainment.
Weeman emits nothing but positive vibes, he's a dope dude. Also this episode already has more views after 5 hours than last week's episode

Great fake story 🙄

Who is "we"?
WEE man is THE man. absolutely love this guy and the energy he has brought for so many years. cheers man
Wish Steve-O would get some high end streamer to talk about gaming on the podcast. I think Steve is just so out of the loop with games now he doesn’t realize how big it is. And that all gamers aren’t losers lol
I met WeeMan at like 7:30 am skating at a Costco in Glendale, CA. Super rad dude
I grew up with the Jackass crew and Wee Man was always my favourite. Great dude!
Weeman looks a lot younger than he actually is. I hope he stays around for 50 more, the guy is one of the most wholesome positive people around

The Browns - American Werewolf In Calgary we got a few grand for it, but we were one of the smaller bands on there, and there was like 100 bands on that soundtrack.
Yeah Steve-os argument is kind of trash here. Also physical activity leads to possible high costing injurys that most can't afford..
Thats not true. What happens when you fail at a game? Literally nothing. You are wrong as hell.

Imagine them doing this interview in 2000 .skateboard over each other heads 😄 and that van would be set on fire on purpose 😆

Steve-O - " You've always been very private, eh?..."
Also Steve-O " How much did you make doing this? How much did you get paid to do that?"

With your work ethic and the type of human being that you are and that you are constantly working to become. I'm hooked on your podcast, and it's because I always end up feeling inspired in one way or another after I listen. The conversation about skateboarding was very accurate. Boxing is the same way, failure after failure until you finally win. It really takes discipline and determination, both sports, and instills great principles into the mind of the athlete.

if it wasn't for videogames, I wouldn't have spent as much time on the internet, watching videos about science and nature, wouldn't have any culture about most of the subjects I now have under my belt, would definietely not have gained any interest in the field I'm now working on, having a majored and soon getting a doctorate in microscopy in biomolecular science, would only speak my native language and my periods of drugs and partying would have been much longer and would maybe not have ended as well.
Read the whole thing and I agree, Steve needs to get off his high horse, respectfully.
This was a great episode for me, loved hearing about failure and hearing about your parts in the Tony Hawk games
Damn! Is it just me or is Wee Man the ultimate in epic awesomeness, Great guy!
