Have you ever done a long distance bicycle tour? Like riding three or four days, and camping outdoors? Here in California, some people ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles along the Pacific Coast. Ride takes a few days. Hope you are your family are well. What is the latest on MCO 3.0? Are you able to ride your bicycle? June 15th most restrictions (mask; gatherings; social distancing) will be lifted in my State. My wife and I will still wear our masks. Stay safe and healthy.
Yes I had done 4D3N from Subang Jaya to Melaka. You can watch this video ua-cam.com/video/2U9ih8w_0sM/v-deo.html Now MCO 3.0 not allow cycling by group or solo unless you work cycling for food delivery. Mostly I do 2D1N touring camping. The MCO extend another 2 week till 28th June. I dream could do a cycling touring one whole round Malaysia but unable to do yet. My audience Mr Suresh had watch my bicycle review and he brought the same bicycle. He evening came all the way down from Seremban just to meet me up to get some advised. He then started cycling one whole round Malaysia taking one and a half month time. I had change my mask to KN95. 3 ply mask is not that efficient to combat the Covid. Some start to wear double mask too. I had register to take to vaccination but in waiting list.
You are hard core cycling my friend. Riding the entire peninsula Malaysia would be fantastic. Haven't had the chance to visit the east coast of peninsula Malaysia. My wife has family in Kelantan, which I heard is really beautiful. My youngest daughter just received her second dose, so my family is fully vaccinated. Most restrictions for mask/gatherings/social distancing to be lifted. My family and I will still be wearing our mask when we go out. We have been wearing double masks. As more people get vaccinated, I hope the cases ease and MCO will be relaxed. US is donating vaccines, and some are heading to Malaysia. Hope you do not have to wait too long. No idea when the country will allow international tourist to return. Hopefully by this time next year. You and your family stay safe and healthy.
Thank you for this video. I have prebooked the Marin four corners. Expecting to get it by May. I have just one question though. The wheels are 32 spokes. Do the spokes break while touring? Especially on unpaved village roads or forest roads?
Hi. I had ride more than 3000km on pave road, off road, gravel and estate road never encounter spokes brake.

Thanks for the very useful comparaison ! We are planning a one year cycle trip through Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Korea and America. I am planning on buying 2 Marin 4 corners in Kuala Lumpur. Could you tell me which double kickstand you are using and possibly give me the link to buy it on Lazada? Also is there any front rack (with plateform and lower bars to attach panniers) that fit the bike and that you recommand?
