You sir, are amazing!
thank you good sir
Thanks man, just what i needed :)
The ability to be psycho-physically healthy for a long period of time and as such to deliver a top game non-stop is, in my opinion, the full definition of an MVP. If we look at it like that, I literally see absolutely no one except Nikola Jokić for the last 5 years who is the MVP of the NBA.
Any excuse like "his team is not first in the West"; "he's a stat collector" (and actually the reason is that he's not a black brother) is nonsensical and says a lot about those who use it.
Timestamps would be helpful.
🃏5MVP
I just don't think Murray is done. He was playing incredibly well last Spring. He's still young. He is extremely determined. He feeds off of doubt. The Nuggets need him to be the player we know he can be. Do not count him out. If you do might as well count the Nuggets out too.
- deflections
- teammates positioning
- steals
- reading opponent's offense
- rebounding(off/def)
- switching
Defense is not only classic defense!!! So don't tell me Dunkan is sky-high defender... Jokic put in his defense more perimeters to count
Timestamps please!
It's really sad that the teams and also the fans expect these players to play through injuries, risking bigger injuries. Otherwise, they seem weak. I think a very big part of it is the number of games per season. I mean, seriously, 82 is insane. In Europe, they usually play 2 games a week, one in the local league and one in the European league. It's not like they sit around and do nothing the rest of the time. They practice, so you actually build a better team because they bond, they learn to play better with each other, they practice different plays. This way, you get to the playoff with your best players able to play. Everyone wants to see a good playoff. A good playoff includes the best players in shape, not exhausted, and not injured (mostly).
The best of 7 is also insane to me. Sorry to bring Europe again, but I do believe they do it better in this regard.. In Europe, the playoffs are the best of 5, which is enough in my mind.
I know old timers will say, well, it's always been 82, and the players managed just fine, and I don't know what's different in this era, but it's just a fact.
Another aspect is that the players salary it's so high and tax limits for the teams create a situation that teams can not afford to have a good enough roster, so they grind their starters. The Denver Nuggets, for example, every time the bench is playing, a 10 + point lead goes down in two minutes, and then they have to bring Jokic back early to fix it...
Re: injuries, training camp isn't long enough. Players don't ramp up for the season.
Sort of in the direction of the alleged tension between the Nuggets front office and Michael Malone in which management is begging him to play his younger players and Malone is resisting. Maybe Malone should give this some thought from the perspective offered here...
1. don't get Mrs. Thorpe's issues with tank tops, I think they look nicer on you than polo shirts. Polo shirts look bad on anyone unless you're super skinny or have amazing physique.
2. these pods are getting too short, what happened to an hour?
How come jokic aint breaking?:))))
Because during offseason his horses carry him everywhere.
Pure laziness, no time stamp. A little effort guys.
When I hear your political opinions and immediately stop watching 😅
