    I love how you reply just about all the comments. That's very telling on your character. Of course I understand that no YTber can keep replying all comments, especially if it increases manifold but in the meantime, nice to see someone showing appreciation to viewers. But then again, you're an amazing craftsman.

    I didn't realize it was transparent resin! I can understand why you're unhappy with it, but I personally love that it looks like the pieces are in relief with shadows. Also the one piece of ash is absolutely stunning and fits great in the puzzle theme

    • @RayWhitbyCreations
      @RayWhitbyCreations  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Patrick. It was more about the air trapped inside the resin because of the design of the resin mold that was a little frustrating. I will attempt another version one day soon I hope. Hi Brian. Would definitely encourage enthusiastic individuals to give it a go, but would advocate trying something really simple if you've never used resin or resin & wood before. Choosing the right resin is the key (deep pour, non-toxic), even better if you can get a pressure pot, but not essential. When you get it finished, please send me a photo of your project! Today 267 dislikes. ???? Wish they would leave a link to some of their work.
    Anyway not just great work, but imagination and creativity., not to mention workmanship.

      I don't mind the dislikes, but would rather they said why! It could help develop some tweaks in future videos. Did you see the other puzzle woodturning I did? It's still a useable puzzle after woodturning! All the best. Ray

    This is probably where a CNC would have come in really handy.

    • @RayWhitbyCreations
      @RayWhitbyCreations  3 роки тому +1

      Agreed Brad. A 5 axis CNC would be ideal here. Although I preferred the challenge of the 3D printed version and have a working jigsaw puzzle at the end of it. All the best. Ray
