Thank you for that. I'm a carpenter by trade, and even I wasn't sure how to go about making a rack for my bumpers. This is perfect, simple, and looks smooth.
Thank you so much!! I made this yesterday and I love it. I brought 2 2x4x8 from lowes for $10.70. I had them cut one of my 2x4 into 12 14inches and I cut the other one once I figured out how long I needed it. Great video!
How would you build this differently?

Glad to help!
Best critter cameo of any bumper plate toaster rack DIY on the interwebs.
Very specific but I'd agree it's the best. Haha

Perfect! Happy to help!
Excellent design
Thanks man!
Very cool diy! You think it was worth the time vs buying one?
100% it didn't take very long at all and I don't have a ton of woodworking skills. Probably 2-3 hours and only 10% of the price of purchasing storage.
Do the plates touch the floor?
They do. Just barely
@@kenjifugimoto can’t you just make the frame narrower?
That means the 2x4 has more stress on them to hold them in vs just resting on the ground which makes more sense
gyatt
huh?
How come you have 7 plates? I had to double checked to be sure…
I also have the matches to those 7. I built two racks like this one.
