I've actually seen some of the original Lord of the Rings costumes and props, a number of them are being kept at Weta workshop where they were made. You can even get a tour around the studio and see them and a number of other props they made for other films, I went on that tour and it was so awesome. Its in NZ though, so you might not be able to go there

This is a great movie dress haul, I love the concept, cut and fit of Fluer’s dress but hate the bright shiny blue material I think if they had gone with something a little more matte it would have been perfect!

I went to the labyrinth Jim Henson exhibit when it was in Seattle in like 2016. Labyrinths my favorite movie so it was really incredible seeing both the dress and the suit. Although, I’m pretty sure most of the exhibit was about the muppets and sesame street. There was barley any other labyrinth things beside Sarah and jareths costumes
You look gorgeous in all of those costumes. It’s hard to chose which one of them is my favorite. Not that this has anything to do with this video, but after “Pretty In Pink” wrapped up production, I heard that Molly Ringwald was allowed to keep all of her costumes she wore in the movie. I also read in an article on Pinterest, I believe, that Molly had to pick out all of her clothes to wear as Samantha Baker in Sixteen Candles. All of her clothes has pink in them. I’m not surprised if the bridesmaids dress Molly and her on-screen sister wore in the end of the film must be designed by the costume designer of the film. Labyrinth WAS MY CHILDHOOD!! My friend's mom made her that dress and I was sooo jealous. We would watch it almost every day and I can probably still recite 85% of it by heart. All of the dresses are AMAZING! And once again I am so very jealous 😃

I don't know of you'll see this, Hope, but there's a place to wear your Labyrinth dress! There's a masquerade ball in LA that started as a convention for Labyrinth. It's called Labyrinth of Jareth. It's usually the 3rd or 4th weekend in August. I used to perform in it and there are always at least 4 or 5 Sarah's walking around every year, which is so fun

If you would buy the v. I. P tour, they used to take you to the custom department and to the prop department. But I don't know if they still do that and you would tore it and you could look at staff and they would explain how things work.

I've actually seen some of the original Lord of the Rings costumes and props, a number of them are being kept at Weta workshop where they were made. You can even get a tour around the studio and see them and a number of other props they made for other films, I went on that tour and it was so awesome.
Its in NZ though, so you might not be able to go there

As a potterfreakfan, the Beauxbatons uniform gave me life! I was worried for a second, because it looked like they'd done the lapel on the Cape differently, but then it showed up, and it was so movie accurate and perfect!

Ever since The Princess Bride and LOTR came out, I have wanted the two dresses from those movies that you have in this video. It's one of the reasons that I'm learning to sew, so that I can, hopefully, make versions of them for myself.

This is a great movie dress haul, I love the concept, cut and fit of Fluer’s dress but hate the bright shiny blue material I think if they had gone with something a little more matte it would have been perfect!
Yeah that satin makes it look quite cheap unfortunately. Like, it's not even the right shade of blue. Tbh I'd be pretty pissed off if I received that when the photos look like that.

I went to the labyrinth Jim Henson exhibit when it was in Seattle in like 2016. Labyrinths my favorite movie so it was really incredible seeing both the dress and the suit. Although, I’m pretty sure most of the exhibit was about the muppets and sesame street. There was barley any other labyrinth things beside Sarah and jareths costumes

You look gorgeous in all of those costumes. It’s hard to chose which one of them is my favorite. Not that this has anything to do with this video, but after “Pretty In Pink” wrapped up production, I heard that Molly Ringwald was allowed to keep all of her costumes she wore in the movie. I also read in an article on Pinterest, I believe, that Molly had to pick out all of her clothes to wear as Samantha Baker in Sixteen Candles. All of her clothes has pink in them. I’m not surprised if the bridesmaids dress Molly and her on-screen sister wore in the end of the film must be designed by the costume designer of the film. I’m a Hunger Games fan, & I believe that Josh Hutcherson kept his character, Peeta’s necklace from Catching Fire. Then have Peeta’s necklace to his mother.

'Center of tits' personal made me laugh cause when I was learning to make patterns, the apex was super important. The apex basically being the center of the chest and we'd often measure from it(apex to waist, apex to collarbone, etc). My classmates and I nicknamed it the center of boobs cause it was. Center of tits is a bit more direct but works

I don't know of you'll see this, Hope, but there's a place to wear your Labyrinth dress! There's a masquerade ball in LA that started as a convention for Labyrinth. It's called Labyrinth of Jareth. It's usually the 3rd or 4th weekend in August. I used to perform in it and there are always at least 4 or 5 Sarah's walking around every year, which is so fun

If you would buy the v. I. P tour, they used to take you to the custom department and to the prop department. But I don't know if they still do that and you would tore it and you could look at staff and they would explain how things work.
