Most of the meat creatures are pretty chill as long as you know what you are doing. Even the scary ones can be entierly avoided if you just educate yourself.

THANK YOU! I never understand that trope of hiding with the flashlight on. It would be understandable if the monster was blind but she does know it has eyes and can see her light go through the door openings.
I've seen ONE analog horror-adjacent thing where they hid with the flashlight on. At least the character had the brains to cover the thing with their hand lol
But then you couldn't see the spooky monster about to eat you.
I'm sorry, I read that as "fleshlight" and my mind went straight to that article about those bluetooth sex toys that could be hacked.
My only defense is that I just got off of a 12 hour shift at work and I'm tired.😪

@@jamwrightiam singularity and monolith are anomalous being monolith are way too big to actually not be anormal and the singularity is probably 1 and only 1 and i think its the source of all these creatures the governement being aware of it trying to hide the true danger to protect civils while trying to deal with the problem
Man, I LOVE when people come up with entire ecosystems like this, especially in a horror sense.
Not everything is out to get you or is bad, too. So it feeds more into our fascination of what's being displayed.
I also love how when mostly humans aren't on the top of the food chain, whatever is on top is considered a "monster" everytime because Humans barely have any ways of killing them. When in reality they are just animals and predators unless they have supernatural abilities
And what could be real for all we know there might be a meat planet out there

I genuinely thank you for showing some light on Vita Carnis, nobody has reacted to it yet and it's about time this series gets views because Darian Quilloy is incredibly talented. Hopefully Vita Carnis and Quilloy's other videos get views too. 300k views may be a lot but it deserves millions in my opinion.
Edit: 640k views now, couple more thousand to go before Vita Carnis documentary has 1mil.

I love the series, but it makes me so paranoid. The thought of another Apex Predator other than humans is terrifying like no other.
So the fact that the little monsters were found surrounding things like radio towers and old energy stations connected with the monoliths having emp abilities and the singularity having similar energy related abilities makes me think that energy is very connected in what they do to survive or aim to do in the future maybe?
I think monolitj location should be striked by multiples multi warhead nuclear ICBM in the case a treath i from them is discovered or if we discover that they arent here to befriend us
@jhonsilveralpha Easy to say that, but really think about it. Nuclear bombs are deadly to everything. The evacuation would be massive, and the entire area that was hit, plus some several miles, would be uninhabitable for years while the radiation fades.
at 4:43 in south america, there's a black spot that swiftly becomes red. i believe rather than it being a mistake made by the creator, it's to show how rapidly it grows

Perhaps the singularity was created by an unknown phenomenon and shortly after it created the crawl which lead to that creating the various other creatures.

OK the monoliths' location is redacted which makes me think they are an SCP (collectively). I LOVE the design of them. Takes the idea of siren head's gigantic size but does something different with it.

@@ace_wash8363 the mimic is not affected by small guns so u would need rambo m60 or any kind of gun that can use AP ammo or incendiary ammo to burn these things down to protect you a medieval steel armor would be great sinc a steel armor compared to modern armor is made to protect from sharp stuff like sword so would protect u better than a ceramic plate in a kevlar vest

34:49 There's actually a small splotch of red in Canada. I think they're in the lower section of Nunavut, one of the provinces.
I would let a mimic on fire since it is has nothing to protect itself or extinguished the damage, and probably would work on the rest of the other things like the host (just wear a mask to protect yourself from the steam), and that egg looking thing
Also I've yet to see anything survive getting hit with a shot gun at point blank range, if it can turn a 2007 truck side into melted cheese I don't think meat is going to stand a chance

I didn't hear the doorknock clearly when listening to the video, put my second earbud in and immediately jolted from my chair. Because it was MUCH louder and real feeling than I thought. The things I do to myself.

23:22 I made a creature in Roblox Studio back in October with the same name, but resembles the adult mimic, the main difference is that they have long claws, resembling those of a Therizinosaurus, and they come from an ancient extraterrestrial species that came from a giant floating bleeding red eye called “The Harvest Eye”. There was another harvester specimen called “The Harvest Spider”. The Harvester species were eventually defeated by Godzilla after trying to invade the MOAI Kingdom, which was a game that I created in Roblox Studio.

These creatures seem to have some relation towards airborne signals, as a Radio tower was engulfed in the crawl and a large infestation of trimmings gathered around a satellite dish.

There was another video where he inserted a random document from some organization called “K.O.T.O”. Something is definitely happening…maybe an ARG? There aren’t any Reddit groups that I have found yet!
To my knowledge the Mimic in the video was a real model being puppeteered for the video
I really like how some of them are actually helpful, and support the ecosystem in a way.
Of course, others are more horror, but some? Even rather benevolent.

@@vinnytrauner3266 it's terrifying as in Any other dangerous natural hazard, it's not truly coming after humans or anything, the mimics on the other hand. The harvesters are just like plants and can be avoided by staying out of forested areas and just straight up not getting too far away from society, the only monsters in this thing that is unavoidable are the mimics, although on the map thing it shows they're not EVERYWHERE, so maybe you could move to a place with just the right conditions to not find any of the more dangerous creatures, except the singularity, whatever the fuck those guys are doing we don't have any idea.

If you are wondering, the monoliths are on that made up island in the hudson's bay. it flashes red when the beep happens at 34:47. And i am guessing that the monoliths surround the singularity.
Edit: it shows that there are human populated areas on that weird island, and possibly it is a government facilitu

Vita carnis actually gave me chills. How the mimic is described and what it does is just terrifying. Dont even get me started on the elder mimic. If this ever happens, grab a shotgun and exterminate all of vita carnis
You would have to shot a mimic point blank, cause they are already resistant to gun shots, and elder mimics seem to be even more resistant. Potentially bullet proof. I would recommend a lit match or the old and proven method of a can of spray and a lighter. Since fire is a weakness of the vita carnis
I'm not sure if anyone else has said this, but I think you should look into some of the other videos in darian_quilloy's Vita Carnis playlist. Most of them are quite short, being between 2-5 minutes long, and I think they'd be quite interesting to cover (the Tunnel Meatsnake and Havester Attack in particular).
The monolith actually looks like it could be made by Trevor Henderson tbh

This is such a petty thing but having taken a latin class, the letter ‘v’ is pronounced as you would pronounce a w. It would sound like “Wita Carnis”, which vita means life and carnis refers to meat.

I actually think that having The Crawl and the Meat Snakes IRL would be kind of nice. The crawls are just cool whimsical meat plants, and the snakes are very useful AND really chill, although disturbing (in a cool way)
Not the rest of the creatures tho.The trimmers are noisy, useless and there's too much of them, the mimics are NOT chill and WOULD kill you, and the others are just eldrich horrors, not the pretty wild animals like the Snakes

"This could be its own video game..." Actually, a remarkably similar infecction exists in video games already. The Cordyceps zombies of Last of Us. This sounds typical to existing Cordyceps fungus infection in insects--the spores are inhaled, lodge themselves for growth, and guide the now dying creature to a place of maximum spore dispersion. Then they kill the host and sprout, and spore.
(Why yes, this is one of my phobias, hence why this and Last of Us are so terrifying to me.)

@@dunnkids7263 That's...exactly what's going on, though? It's a fungal infection that turns humans into killing machines, and the fungal strain, in the game lore, is Cordyceps.
@@EmillyOrr the fungal spores do not turn the humans into killing machines at all, they mind controll the infected human into walking into the Host and letting themselves be disemboweled. just because both use "spores" doesnt mean theyre the same thing.

I was unsure with the venom, (edit: I know biology jc, I meant) it was a bit much... then, emp?? Nevertheless I was entertained. Even though this felt like a mashup of some notable analogue stories (and Death Stranding), it was well made. The images were cool and immersive which was a complete 180 from the red hoodied man from last time.
No, because the harvester cant eat living pray. It trapps you, makes sure you cant leave and will bleed out, and once you are dead they start dragging you down underground. Kinda like a snake who strikes its pray, then waits for it to run off and die before just following its trail and eat it when its 100% dead.
Most of the vita carnis can't eat living things (mimics and hosts excluded) so they rely on being scavengers or waiting for the prey to die out.
There's plenty of creatures Irl with venom exactly like that, the emp on the other hand yeah that's an alien at that point the closest we got is electric eels and they at least need water
@@jamwrightiam I wish it wasn't, it makes the story cheaper to me. Like, it's a trope so easy and lazy to do, I wish it stuck with the concept of then all being creatures from earth, it's more challenging to do right but it's 10 times more interesting.
The analog horror genre is flooded with alien content, the only famous ones I know that are not about that is the FNAF ones and Mandela catalogue

Then, he decided to hang it up, and I knew it wasn’t coming.

How hard would you need to hit a mimic for it to fall
Since it’s meat, if you stab it with a very sharp object like a sword or a expensive cooking knife that should weaken it, in that state you can probably kill it with a table by hitting it in the head, bonus damage if the table breaks on it.
