Opening The Maize Stack..It's Black As!!! More Bull Calves Off To Their New Home

Matts coming over from Gordonton to pick up some bull calves to rear and try and make some money on them.
The milking herd is getting to big and I'm running out of grass so I'm drafting them into two herds and opening the maize stack to start feeding out again.
I thought it was going to be black but maybe not quite this bad

I found her and It did come through with a health alert, Matt also said he had two health alerts and checked them and they both had mastitis.
They don't get them every time but gives you a good place to look

I reckon getting out to other farms and seeing their new systems and explaining the equipment would be great, and expand your viewers. Maybe a video on how the dairy shed machinery at your place works too.

The silage pit must have had air get in for it to be moldy.

Hi Andrew as always another great video. Yes you definitely needed your dog while lifting the cover off the silage 😂. Yes it was definitely abit on nose with someone on your property with out asking first not that hard to do . When you put the bull over the cows have you thought about using a different breed like a good meat variety to sell the bull calf at a better price or more popular
