Chitta Dorjey is an expert snow leopard tracker and spotter. Having lived his whole life in the mountains, he's photographed and captured breathtaking video footage of over 108 snow leopards. But in all his life, he had never seen the ocean. Just once, he wanted to walk along a beach, feel the waves, and experience the beauty of the open sea. We made that dream come true.

This is such a simple and great video. When Chitta viewed the sea from that cliff for the first time, I am sure that would have been one hell of a feeling for him.
I am aslo a Ladakhi and I can feel is excitement..because first time I saw the mighty ocean I was amazed and cried alot to the the creator amazing creation..cant control my emotions.....
India and its people are just so beautiful....filled with so much of inspiration....so much of life...great video....
i loved it, i am also dreaming to see the ocean and beach of south india..
Welcome
once a pahadi, always a pahadi. when you live in the mountains and go to the plains, you start missing the perspective offered by the mountains and eagerly wait to get back to the hills.
The country with all type of people and landscape...I'm proud to be Indian...
We have a Bengali story like this, by Manik Bandhopadyay. It's about a girl who wanted to see the ocean, but it wasn't to happen, so she used to enjoy the salty taste of the ocean by tasting her tears which fell due to the circumstances.
Manik Bandhopadhyay. Somudrer Shaad (taste of the sea).
Saptarshi Bhattacharya Ohhhh yes!! Thanks! Studied it in class 6. Exactly! Thanks.
Debangsu Sarkar Damn bro,you reminded me of my childhood. Studied it in class 8.
Debangsu Sarkar eta porechilam school e 🙂
omg thats so sad
My first experience of the ocean was too in Kerala. Cherai Beach, Cochin. I remember I was in the sea wading waist deep and facing the crashing waves for a good 2 and a half hours in 2004 December. The feeling was so intense and captivating only people who have experienced it can tell. I am from Assam. Great video, I could relate. Thank you
For someone currently going through depression and anxiety this video is like a breath of fresh air. I can’t thank you guys enough THANK YOU for making this video 🙏🏼
I have successfully overcome clinical depression, so my advice , have faith in god and try to enjoy your life as much as possible.
God bless you
Even i don't have seen ocean till this date
Being born in landlocked country like nepal it's one of my dream to go in beach and watch ocean ❤🙈🙈
Nilam Gurung you should visit India here there are many beaches
May god fulfil your dream soon..
I never seen snow
We Indians can help
Amidst all the usual beauty, tech and travel blogs that eats up all the youtube space..short yet meaningful documentaries like these wins the heart..
Once a Mountain man, always a mountain man. Mountain has more variety, seasonal beauty & adventure unlike oceans' tidal monotony.
Awakened sky : Everything has its own beauty. Appreciate everything around you.
Awakened sky. Absolutely. I’ll take my mountain any day.
Manas Ankit
If there is shit around me, do I have the right to run away ? 😀
What kind of comparison is this. Lol
Ladies and gentlemen this right here is spirit of India for you...a man from the mighty Himalaya the abode of Gods gets a chance to visit the shores of Gods own Country...India eternal beautiful...yet left to the fate of time...
Beautiful video! I can definitely understand how he must have felt when he saw the sea for the first time. I was a 17 year old when I saw the sea for the first time. Its been 12 years now but I can still remember the thoughts that were going through my mind back then. I love my India.
Nah...your mind goes into a different zone.
My parents and most of northeast Indians have never seen ocean...I'm a lucky one as I managed to come Kerala ...but most people have not seen the ocean..I'm from Tripura and it's just around 300 km away from the bay of Bengal but due international border we just can't see the ocean...but i was lucky enough to come to Kerala...I have not seen the ocean yet....i saw it when I was coming through the windows of the plane...
And i hope I'll see the ocean next month...I'm just new to this place and busy with college life.....and the flood in Kerala prevent me from seeing the ocean.but I will vist soon..
I created this channel to show my people about the ocean...and south india...because most of my noryheast people have not seen the ocean..
And here people don't know about Northeast.. they thought I was a Chinese.. so i thought of creating this channel to tell the world about northeast and also tell my people about other Indian parts..
More power to you brother. I have such beautiful experience with my friends from the seven sisters. India never ceases to surprise me. 💙
This was fantastic to see Chitta. I'm glad you got the chance for this experience. Im with you although the sea is an amazing place the lure of the mountains is forever calling. You are still the fastest person I know to climb mountains.
really loved it..coz i have serious obsession with both oceans and mountains...
I was watching his previous documentary on snow leopard just few days back.he is a champ

Samruddha Puranik , you are absolutely correct. I subscribed to this channel 6 months back and also clicked on the bell icon but the topics are not intriguing enough for me to click on the link but once I start watching it I enjoy the content. I think they should try attention grabbing headlines.
Yes. Even i had the same thought
I am the reverse here.. Born and lived near the coast my entire life , But wish to see the mighty Himalayas ..
All my life, I have never lived more than 50 Kilometres away from the Sea. I feel like I have taken that fact for granted.

Incredible . .. 101 India
So deep meaning video with philosophical approach. I liked the line when he said that in mountains there is pin drop silence and stand still but when you come to ocean it is so noisy and shows the running time. Masterpiece. And i will see that cliff whenever go to Kerala- God's own country.

There's something special with waves of sea and the silence of mountains. The ocean and the mountains have their own charm and beauty to it. We must enjoy this gift of mother nature rather than destroying it. Lovely video 101 India. The only channel I have subscribed to. Cheers and ✌
