      Kids can read the bible in school, teachers or the administration just can't ask then to. There is plenty of prayer in school especially before a test.

      @@tedesco455 You replied this to my comment, also. I'll just post my reply right here.
      "Tell that to the kids in liberal states. There have been countless lawsuits trying to suppress the religious freedoms of Americans, especially in schools. There is an official "Bring Your Bible To School" Day, simply to prove that we do still have limited freedom left, as you pointed out. However, that has been fought against for a long time. And "public religious expression" (such as prayer) is very much prohibited. A kid can pray to themselves over their lunch, but that's pretty much about it."

      @tedesco455 3 роки тому

      @@ZachFrost Show an example of these lawsuits? You will find that they were either being lead by a teacher or administrator or they got thrown out. I am tired of Christians whining about oppression it is ridiculous. There is are 350,000 churches in the us that is 1 for every 1000 americans and 44% of Americans attend church so that is 1 for every 440 people who attend.

    • @ZachFrost
      @ZachFrost 3 роки тому +2

      @@tedesco455 Absolutely! How about the case of Baronelle Stutzman, who is being sued for refusing services for a gay wedding? Or how about Kelvin Cochren, a firechief who lost his job simply because of a Christian pamphlet he wrote? How about the little girl in Mississippi who was expelled from school just because she wore a "Jesus Loves Me" mask? Not to mention Jack Phillips, the baker who lost nearly everything because he didn't want to bake a wedding cake for a gay wedding. And let's not forget the "Klein v. Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries" case where Melissa Klein was sued for also refusing to bake a wedding cake. These are just a few examples.
      That statistic is in no way applicable to your argument. Just because there are a lot of churches does not take away the fact that Christians face enormous pressure from the culture. You can look at John MacArthur in California. During covid, he was ordered to shut down his church. However, strip clubs, bars, and all sorts of other "businesses" were totally allowed to remain open. He fought back, and they started fining him and threatened to arrest him.
      In other parts of the world, things are just as bad or worse. A Polish pastor in Calgary was just arrested a few days ago for having a church service during covid, while other businesses are allowed to stay open without issue. Churches and Christians are absolutely targeted for their faith. And it's not a matter of whining about it, it's stating a fact. I for one am tired of people like yourself who "whine" that we are not in any way persecuted when we absolutely are. While we are enormously blessed to live in the U.S. where we still have freedom (as I mentioned above), in China and the Middle East Christians are persecuted every single day just because they have differing religious views. People so easily forget the Christians who were beheaded by ISIS just a few short years ago.
      I am not in any way suggesting that we do not have religious freedom in the U.S., we do, and I will always thank God for that. What I am saying is that there is a very prevalent and conscious effort to suppress and oppress Christians because of our beliefs and convictions. To deny that is pure ignorance of the facts.
      There is no point in continuing this conversation. You have your view of the situation, and I have mine. Let's agree to disagree and move on. Good day to you, and I hope you stay safe and healthy in these difficult times.

    Church schools are made for prayers and bibles
