Bad muscle memory! So that's what happened to me lol I was practicing some 360 backflips and was doing good at first... then I got worse and worse... Do not practice more than you can handle, remember there is always tomorrow... for the most part haha

you really just have to commit. you have to say "I am gonna fall but at the least amma put my hands down" you really need to commit. if you say gonna commit to putting my hand up and kicking you should have no issue. also do it at a trampoline park.
There is no confusion here: this move is a kick the moon because all you do is kicking. The cheat gainer however, is supposed to be a gainer after all, wich is mainly a traveling forward backflip. So a cheat gainer is when you do a normal gainer taking off one leg and throwing the other to travel forward. Anyway, nice tutorial :D !

Lol no, it's more intermediate. learn basic tricks like the B-kick/B-twist, Aerial, Tornado kick/540 kick, work on your roundhouse and hook kicks. Before you learn this you wanna have your back tuck learned so you have awareness of going over backwards
When I attempt cheat gainers, I rotate like a backflip, instead of slanted. How would i fix that. Im basically doing 1 foot backflips instead of that side ways motion I see you do. Im worried because i wanna learn corkscrew but I need to slant instead of going straight over

It depends on what feels more comfortable, for me I just off my dominant leg but that is just me
if you twist left go off your left foot so your right foot can swing through
